Clan Comp Update

The competition planning is still going on, though most of the details are wrapped up. In fact, I just added another small event to it. All that remains is to finalize a few things about the run-on. Yes, there will be a run-on, but we're trying something different with it. The tentative start date is January 26 th. There are two goals of this competition. One is to catch everyone up fictionally as to the clan's position. The other is to provide activity and opportunities for awards and such.

Also, as a reminder: the clan's roster will be trimmed, starting after the clan competition. Participation in any one of the clan competition events will save you from being sent to the Rogues, though not indefinitely.

New Arrivals

I'd like to publicly welcome Cade and Drichar to the clan. Both of them have joined us since my last edition of the clan notes. I've talked with Cade a bit, and Drichar did pass the History of the Sith Empire I course almost immediately upon joining.

Speaking of promotions and such, I would like to note that I do like to see members get promoted and awarded. I like even more when I get to submit the recommendations. This doesn't mean I'm going to do it for everyone (that's what house leaders do), but if you are active, you'll get rewarded. Feel free to CC me with any competition submissions you have, for any event from your battleteam up to the DB level. That's one way to guarantee that I see your work.

Thanks to Raiju for stepping up while Archean has computer problems, and Adien was on LoA. Adien is back, but Archean is still having computer problems. For the time being, he'll remain as QUA of Tridens, though Adien and Raiju will be handling the operations until Archean returns.

Change in E-mail plans

Initially, I was not going to use the Clan Tarentum mailing list, but instead use just the house mailing lists. But, I've changed my mind, and will get to work updating the clan mailing list so I can use it.

Fictional Update

Anshar continues to settle in as Consul, with a lot of work to do. Though much of the Brotherhood is still in some state of disarray due to the Vong attack, things are returning to some semblance of normalcy. Rumors of behind the scenes talks with Clan Arcona and Clan Naga Sadow are, as of yet, unproven.
