My friends,

It’s been a month since my last report. This is part of a new scheme by Mejas and myself to get a report to you once a fortnight, taking turns on this. In that fortnight, a lot has happened. Namely, I was CoJ’ed for harassing members of CSP. A lot of you have already voiced your opinions on the matter. I know how I feel about it, however let’s keep the Kir-bashing to a respective minimum :P Also, on that vein, Mejas’s Cease and Desist order is still in effect. Anyone found harassing CSP members will not be given leniency, by either the DC, the CoJ, or by Arcona. Let’s try and start the new year with a little more maturity – I know I’ll be trying, and I expect you all to as well.

Comps:

There’s a few DB-level gaming and fiction comps out, and their details can be found on the News Page. The big hitter will be the House Feud, starting tomorrow. This has been the object of a lot of the summit’s focused attention for over a month now – tomorrow you’ll see why. Quejo will be announcing the start of the event, and I’d just like to thank him, Orv and Zandro for their titanic efforts in getting this project off the ground.

Also, still running is the RO. Kieran hasn’t been able to post for a while as RL is kicking his ass, but hopefully we’ll see a post from Juda moving the plot along soon, so keep at it.

Tasks:

Myself and Timeros have started work on re-doing the prospectus, however we’ve got nothing of real value to show you yet, as my attention has been divided between the Feud, being docked a rank and also peace talks with CSP. I know a lot of you don’t agree with us suddenly becoming our arch-enemies’ best friends and Mejas and I are aware of this, and as such will do our best to make the change as unjarring and gradual as we can – both clans will have to make sacrifices and suck certain things up, but this really is in the best interests of the entire DB – we come here to enjoy ourselves, relax with friends and have fun, not try and make people feel small. RL:

It’s been fairly busy for me this month once again. I’ve been working full time (a shock to the system, I assure you) on my placement, I’ve been dotting around between Darlington, Leeds and Newcastle a fair bit, and this weekend I’ll have the boyfriend and Chris up to visit me, so expect some drunken shenanigans on IRC ;) However, as of the 16th I’ll be back in Leeds, and hopefully things will settle down for me soon after that. Oh, and I implore you all, make fun of Chris, as he has dyed his hair orange and as such is ginger. No mercy guys.
