Greetings Tarentum,

So this is the first report of my second term as Proconsul. My goal is to make my reports shorter than most and try to share as much information about what is going on as I can. I want to make what the leadership does transparent so that you can give your input, share ideas, inspire conversation, etc. So here's this April's run-down:

Project-X - Earlier this month, House Tridens started a series of organizational changes dubbed Project-X. The finer points center on making the House more active and delegating responsibilities among various levels of leadership. Unfortunately, due to a lot of changes in leadership, I don't think this has been able to reach its full potential yet.

Clan powers update - This has slowed a bit, but Anshar and I have been working on re-aligning the Clan's powers to reflect what is present in Star Wars and less of that in anime, D&D, etc. We're also looking at ways to make it easier to determine what powers you have, and if you are part of one of the "paths" (i.e.. Keepers, Death Dealers).

Think Tank - Doni'Tzu and I were working very closely on some out-of-the-box ideas for the Clan, particularly in the area of fiction. Our goal is to try to come up with something different and exciting that helps Tarentum stand out from the "cookie-cutter" Clans.

Zealot-Tarentum Comp - I wanted to have some form of competition with the RS, where the RS wrote as one side of the story and Tarentum would have possibly been the opposing side. However, I haven't heard back from the Zealot CO so I don't know if this will take off or not.

Improved Run-Ons - Anshar and I, along with the rest of the summits, are looking at borrowing some ideas from the RS to improve our own ability to coordinate and improve cooperative fiction such as Clan run-ons. You should expect that the next run-on will have some new rules that should help the process.

DSS - I've been giving Tron and Sarin some input on how I think the Dark Side Scroll should be awarded for work on the wiki. The DSS is a requirement of the Clan Powers, so I want to make sure that it is available for all members to earn just as it was with the DV. Sarin is circulating some suggestion amongst the DC, so hopefully we'll be hearing more about this soon.

Leadership stuff - Telona is resigning, so we're looking for a Gladius QUA. Doni had to step-down, Odin is now Tridens AED. Starett and Dock are new BTLs in Tridens. As a group, the clan leadership has been discussing the idea of an IRC meeting and possibly some in-character/role-playing opportunities on IRC.

Other stuff - I've got a very long list of ideas and suggestions, but I'm trying to pace myself so I don't wear myself (and others) out with pages upon pages of emails. I want to get a long-term plan in place for the Clan (the DB needs on too), get the leadership working and communicating more effectively, pick-out and train-up new leaders, create more cohesive fiction, etc. There's a lot to do, but we'll get to it as we can.

So, I know that was a bit terse, but I wanted it to be. Hopefully now that you've read it, you have some ideas, questions, comments about the things going on. So what I want to do is open the floor to Q&A after each of my reports to give you a chance to ask questions, find out more about the things you're interested in, and give some input on what you should be done.
