Ashia is off taking a break and will be back next Monday. I've put together a suggested list for things her to do (if you’re reading this Ash).

Things to do while on LoA:

1) Take Muz to watch Mamma Mia. (It has that feel good factor in it)

2) Curl up with a nice Star Wars novel (suggested reading "Rule of Two")

3) Watch all 1 to 6 Star Wars movies in chronological order (e.g. 1,2,3 ect)

4) Go shopping (dont forget to take Muz with you to carry the bags)

5) Review your wiki and update it, do some character development.

6) Have a pillow fight with Muz, or another member of your family. It's just fun and full of stress relief.

7) Go drinking... Sadow style.

8) Drink lots of herbal tea... no caffeine.

9) Eat lots of ice cream, or indulge in "soul food".

10) Do the Hokey Pokey with Muz.

Overall, just kick your feet up and have Muz do all the house work. ;)

First off... congratulations to Alexander Anderson for getting into Law School. Real Life comes before the club and Xander has stepped down as Aedile in order to take a bigger adventure then leading a House.

_Aedile Applications

I'm going to open up applications for Aedile of House Marka Ragnos. This will be a short application period, so if you want it, apply quickly. Applications will close Friday at 11:59pm EST. Make sure I have your application by then. Requirements are as follows:

Rank of Protector or Higher

Email Turnaround Time of Less then 24 Hours

Regular IRC (preferably at least 1-2 hours a day)

Ability to Work with Me and Ashia. If you don't like me and/or Ashia, don't apply.

Your application should include your ideas for the House. Key focus areas are member experience and new member retention. I also want ideas for competitions, how we can get the House ready for a House Feud with HLK or another house in the DB. I would like details on any previous leadership experience you have, as well as anything else you feel is relevant. Please do not include any "references" or people who recommend you for the job. If you apply, expect to take part in an IRC interview sometime this week.

As you can see, I'm only limiting it to Protectors and higher. If you think you've got what it takes, apply. I'm entirely open to appointing a PRT as Aedile, if I feel they can do the job and develop properly. As I said, applications close Friday. Apps to me, CC the CON and PCON, as well as your house summit, if you are a member of House Ludo Kressh. Consider including all the right people in your email as the first test for Aedile.

What I would like to do is offer the Journeymen a chance to get involved in my project by offering 2 points towards their next promotion for each character. The idea is for (example) ACO Joe to e-mail me (as well as his House RM) saying he want to do Seth Tylin. He would then have to write up the character using the wiki codes also, send it by me for approval and then add it to the wiki (including added a link in the OOB to the character) before being allowed to do another. However it would also be first come, first serve. A Novice would only have to complete one character to meet his/her 2 point requirement for Acolyte. A Jedi Hunter would need to do ten of the characters to meet their requirements (if newly promoted and have done any JH trials yet).

At the moment this is just an idea, with Ashia on LoA I will probably poke Kaek, Muz and Sarin for their feedback and input. The other resort is for me to write them all up, but that just wouldn’t be fun. Non-Playable Characters are an important part in Run-Ons; it lets you play other characters apart from your Dark Jedi. For a member of the Clan to create one of these characters is means there becoming more involved with the fictional aspect of the Clan (Dlarit Corporation). It makes Run-Ons a better story, more involved with the fictional world around them. There is the reason why this Clan won the Run-On part of the 8th GJW. Dlarit Corporation is just as real as the Clan itself, the people are just as real as our own characters. The environment around our characters brings life and realism to what we write.

Proconsul Real Life

Well it has been an eventful week so far, have a couple of issues pop up but that’s all sorted. I haven’t been sleeping well, can’t remember if I mentioned this or not? My mind is so overactive of late. I've had Clan stuff to deal with, starting a new Run-On on the Isradia Forum, redid the family WikiPage to look better, redid my character of Ashura to merge it with Alector... now I have one DB character that doesnt exist in official family canon. The reason for this is Ashura and Alector were just too hard to bring in together in the DB but fit perfectly in Vardor, heh... I am so weird. :P

What else has happened in Real Life? Oh yeah, I might buy a laptop to replace my computer, thinking of getting a MacBook Air. My desktop is getting ancient, it doesnt even have duo in it, heh. Never had a Mac before so Im tempted to find out what they're like.
