Dark Greetings Clan Naga Sadow,

I leave you all for three days and my inbox is overflowing. WOW! The feud is now over, we (the judges) are working as fast as we can to get the results. Please be patient with us.

DB Update

Jac is awesome, his new "firewall" has kept the nasty Vong micro virus from attacking our communication network. There have been a few bugs in the system (not organic ones like the Vong but technical ones). However those problems have been sorted.

The Dark Side prevails!

Clan Code

Disciples of Sadow (thats CNS members) follow a code similar to the Dark Jedi Code but highlight what makes us stand out from the rest of the Brotherhood as a Clan. This code was established by none other then Dark Jedi Master Tron Sadow, Founder and Overlord of Clan Naga Sadow. This is what makes us unique and as one.

Loyalty - Faithfulness or a devotion to a cause this being our clan and its members.

Sacrifice - Selfless good deeds for others.

Honor - An ideal for members to uphold: honesty, respect, integrity and fairness.

Courage - To face uncertainty, and to have the will to stand together as a unified front, to stand up for the ideals this clan (and the Brotherhood on whole) stands for.

Commitment - Being part of one Clan and being committed to it as long as we are members.

Hard Work- To understand that nothing comes to those who dont put in the effort. Be it as a leader or an active member. It never goes unnoticed.

Perhaps the title of this section should be Your Golden Age, because what I have seen from everyone who has participated in the Feud has been bloody brilliant! You should all give yourselves a pat on the back.

You, Clan Naga Sadow, have shown what it means when Team Spirit melds with determination and dedication. This is your victory; a single unified victory. I has been an honour on my part helping to judge your wonderful entries and run-on posts. I thank you all.

I do not see why we cant win the Great Jedi War next year. This feud was more than House vs. House. It was about us as whole, how we handled ourselves in a massive competition. And where we go from here.

For me, as a member of this clan, I believe the vital next step for all of us is simple: team building

How do we do this? Through self-assessment and group-dynamic games (competitions). I was going to paste what the Wiki had to say on this, but that would be too extreme. It's not hard for anyone to wiki it themselves.

The feud was in essence an assessment of our abilities to handle a competition against another unit (in this case it was HLK vs. HMR). In the GJW it will be us as a clan against the rest of the clan's in the DJB. We need to build on our strengths and figure out how best to overcome our weaknesses.

Proconsul Projects

With the Feud over I am going to get back on my Wiki projects; one of them being to get the Dlairt Corporation's OOB completed by getting the NPC's created. This is in fact something I am looking for volunteers to help with. So drop me an e-mail if you want to help.

I also plan to run some Clan Trivia competitions over the next few weeks. This general something to help improve new members lore of the clan and fun to take part in.

Proconsul Real Life

Paris was wonderful... I really enjoyed the three days I was there. I even came up with a novel idea while I was there. Writing a book is something I want to do, but never seem to do, heh.

The idea of the story was based on stuff I did and things I saw. The general outline was a English private detective who was orphaned in Paris after his parents were killed. His uncle (mother's brother) is a French priest who help raised him after his parents death. The character has a crummy office next to an art gallery. He's in his late twenties. The story starts with his latest client; a Lido dancer.

He meets her at Notre Dame where she tells him her problem. He gets to go to a Lido show to see her in action. It's after the show when there both outside someone tries to kill them. He survives but the girl dies. The character is a bit pissed, as his client is dead. While having lunch of french bread, cheese and wine he gets a visit from his friend in the French police. He hears how in the past two years three dancers have been killed. Although the cases are unsolved his friend has offered to pay the character to find out more.

Now the character does to see his uncle who is in a confession box. The character does the whole "forgive me father for i have sinned" thing. His uncle makes a snide comment and the character grins. We have a bit of witty banter between the two and then the character asks about if anyone has confused to anything weird. His uncle, of course, cant tell him due to the nature of confessions. But he does offer a couple of indirect comments that kinda help but dont (if you know what I mean)

Thats all I was about to come up with in three days. I think I need to spend at least two weeks in Paris... but not while I am active as I am in the DJB, and since I dont plan to retire anytime soon I will probably have this sitting on the backbench. I might work on the story more but the fact is I am a lazy git. :P
