Well, school started back up for me, and most of you, and thus it has been somewhat slow as far as participation goes in Ektrosis these past few weeks. Most of you are now settling down into a regular schedule, and so activity has been picking back up again.

Just want to point out that we say goodbye to our former Quaestor Sklib from Ektrosis as he helps out Dinaari (Our sister house) by filling in as their Aedile. Good luck Sklib, and I look forward to working on the summit with you once more!

-Ektrosis’s KAP Vorion has stepped up to the position of Taldryan Clan ACC Trainer and is looking to qualify our members into the ACC. For you members, and especially you Journeymen, this is very important for your next promotion to complete and become qualified. If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity, shoot an email to Vorion as well as myself and Starrett requesting a Qualification battle.

-The ICTE webpage is back and running, so now you can get back to your gaming!

-Head Master report is out, and Aabs, like usual, is popping out with new stuff in the SA. There is a new Programming Degree, along with the Professors and Docents working on revamping/editing courses and what not to make them better. No complaints on my end. Also, Obersts writing course is coming this October, so be prepared to sign up for that when the notice comes out!

So, with talk of an RoS coming up in January (Whether it happens or not), it is time to start preparing while we are can. As such, you can expect to see more competitions coming from your summit. Some may be old ideas, some may be old ideas with a new twist, and some may be completely new and un-heard of. One of the competitions that I can tell you will be coming out next month (October), is a competition called “Prestige”, which will be much like Dinaari’s Dominus Sicarius, in which you all will compete for the label of most active member in Ektrosis for each corresponding month. In order to place in this upcoming competition is too do everything you can activity wise to gain points as it were towards your overall score (i.e., SA Exams, Competitions, the ACC, Gaming, etc.). At the end of the month, the top three members will be rewarded Crescents, and the most active member will be named Ektrosis’s most prestige member!

Also… Be expecting an announcement from GM Muz on who the new Taldryan Consul is soon.
