Hello, everyone! Ronovi here sending out her first official PCON report! I'm very excited to actually write one, and I will be attempting to keep in touch with you Tarenti every other week in hopes of alternating reports with Oberst.

For those of you who may not know me (the few, perhaps newcomers or transfers), I was just appointed PCON a week ago when Oberst replaced Anshar as CON. In the DB, I am an Obelisk Templar, as well as a former BTL, Aedile, and Quaestor. In real life, I am a twenty-year-old college student in the Creative Writing B.F.A program at Chapman University, which is in a remote part of California.

Now, for those of you who do know me...hi, guys.

All right, let's get to the actual report. I'll be using the standard underline and bold technique until I get some new report headers (see the Competitions section).

DB News

• November 6th was the Day of the Fox, when we celebrate loyal members by giving them new shinies. Congratulations to the many Tarenti who received Seals of Loyalty; it's members like you who keep the clan alive. For those of you who aren't familiar with the whole thing, the Brotherhood celebrates two days each year to commemorate our time of independence and the Exodus from the Emperor's Hammer, a club we used to be affiliated with. These days also signal the change of fictional year, so welcome to 32 ABY, bitches.

• As far as we know, the Rite of Supremacy VI is still going as scheduled, starting January of 2010. We have not received much detail save for some things Muz said and the teaser that Paladin put out a few months ago. All I know for certain is that Tarentum needs to kick ass in it. No excuses.

• In case you guys haven't noticed yet, our very own Korras has recently become the new Magistrate to the MAA. So be sure to make each request for a medal or promotion detailed and mechanically sound; he will snub you if you use poor grammar and spelling. It's a learning process, people. :P

Clan News

For the most part, Oberst and I are continuing to work on the upcoming clan fiction in order to bring the "Broken" storyline to its final climax and denouement. We were thinking of starting the main events, including the run-on, this Friday; however, we discovered that we needed to work more closely on details of the story to make sure that it was perfect for you guys to get into so we didn't end up with a lot of gaps in the clan fiction. And while we've mentioned this before, yes, this storyline is going to end with us getting rid of necromancy. I know some of you really liked necromancy, I did too, but due to the clan powers, it's got to go.

While there is no specific starting date for the next part of "Broken" yet, I need to hear from you guys specifically. For the run-on, I will be writing the first post and will subsequently need to assign people to certain positions so we don't get the usual "So-and-so got up and dressed and went to see what was going on" posts. Those posts take up space, clog up the progression of the story, and are unnecessary. Therefore, if you want to write in the RO, you are going to choose from two options (which I made vague purposefully):

ATTACK

or

DEFEND

What you choose will determine where you start and where you may possibly stay for the entire run-on. If there are too many people picking one choice, I'll speak with members privately to see if we can reach a compromise. All you have to do now is e-mail me personally, typing one of the two words, and I'll make a note of it.

For each report I will write down every current DB-wide and clan-wide competition. I believe each house summit should be responsible for alerting their members about house-wide competitions, so I'm just here to remind you of the big guys.
