Quaestor Report

Photobucket Good evening, and thank you for tuning into this edition of the Aeotheran Newsfeed.

Monthly weather forecast shows rain, rain, and more rain for the next 10 days. Following this, expect highs in the upper 20`s Celsius with an average of ninety to one hundred percent humidity. Definitely a good day to visit the beach once the construction shifts are done.

More and more businesses are popping up in Kel Rasha, following approval from the city planning commission, including several food service, clothing, and grocery stores. If you have a plan to be your own boss, Dlarit wants to empower you to make that dream come true. There are currently seven locations serving system locals with financial aid, and business seminars.

In other news, the information blackout on the Islanders stadium has been lifted, and security in that block is now authorized to permit visitors to take a look at the construction. We have a quote from Dlarit spokesman Strago Villes.

"Many people have been wondering why security has been so tight around the area, and I'm now authorized to tell you what's been going on. Very new technology in power generation has been utilized, the secrets to which are still tightly under wraps. Now that the generator services have been properly built in and secured, visitors are now welcome to visit the stadium during approved hours, and try to imagine what the completed look will be."

When asked about the ribbon cutting on the Dlarit stadium, Villes was unable to comment.

Speaking of the Aeotheran Islanders, Head Coach Grano Fradra was recently hired, and will soon be holding tryouts once the training camp north of the city is completed. More information as it develops.

The Gilded Archipelago is still well under construction, with amphibious droid labor being phased out following the dangerous work. It's almost time to get the rest of the construction crews in, and as always, Dlarit is hiring anyone willing to put in the time and labor. Skilled contractors, plumbers, and electricians are needed, as well as general labor. Apply today.

Photobucket Well, if you haven't noticed it, our roster is MUCH more full now. Recently the MAA's office put all of the undecided into houses, so there are no longer any un-housed Sadowans. Now that that's happened, I can start really pumping some developmental stuff out. Stay tuned for more.

Zeak Yurashima, previous BTL to the Regulators, recently set himself to Rogue status, which left a hole that I've filled with Roxas Buurenaar. I think it was time to hand our resident Mando his dream shot, and so far, he's been getting himself in order, thrown out a short report, and getting the last of his initial training. I say congratulations to him, and you all should too.

Speaking of the Regulators, if you're not a member, and you think you've got the activity to keep up, just shoot me an e-mail (and CC Roxas) and I'll happily throw you to the wolves.

Methyas, by the way, was recently elevated to Consul of Naga Sadow. Having worked with him in some capacity or another for quite some time, I can say that we're in for a good time while he man's the big chair. If you've not given him the props, now would be a good time.

Halc put a report up recently, which I recommend reading. One of the big points he touches on is people complaining across the DJB about competitions. The simplified statement is, if you don't like what we're running, tell us what you want. I don't know that I can stress enough that you don't work for your summit. Your summit works for you. That's right, we're YOUR employees, and in that vein, I'll need next Saturday off, and about that raise I asked for.

Photobucket See how I used Halc's report as a segue? It's almost like I planned it or something.

Battle Royale. This is an ACC competition, whereby your entire summit is willing to see what kind of a fight you can bring to us. Dont worry if youre not qualified, as you can use this as a qualifier match if you`d like. Come get some.

Conquer the Summit. This is Doomtrain, Plus. To win this comp, just go do other stuff, as outlined in the competition details.

The Fortune competition series master page. I'll have another Fortune comp up as soon as possible.

Remember, CC your ENTIRE summit with your competition entries. Methyas, Lynyrd, Me, and if you're a Regulator, Roxas.

Not much here recently, BUT, what there is merits some special attention.

Creon took Advanced Lightsaber Studies, and ACED it.

Maltheos took his Obelisk Core Exam, and ACED it.

That's how it's done. I'll put my money where my mouth is and admit it. On Advanced Lightsaber studies, I got a 95%, and on my Obelisk Core, a 97%. These two did better than your Quaestor. This is what I like to call a Good Sign.

My RL job is picking up, and I start a second part time job, but I'm not sure that this will impact me all that much. Probably just a little less IRC time. Also, I hope your Independence Day, or Canada Day, was enjoyable. I know mine was.

-=[]=- Cuz I see you, but I can't feel you anymore - so go away. I need you, but I can't need you anymore - you hesitate. -=[]=-
