It occurs to me that SvC may seem quite daunting, so it has been put forth that I, as overlord of content therein (grumbles), must summarize. Listen closely, I shall not repeat it--unless you re-read it... Then I'm sort of repeating... You know what, fine, whatever, just enjoy!

Macron, a Son of Sadow, was ousted as Consul of Naga Sadow by his upstart Proconsul, Locke. (LE GASP) With this occurrence came a rift, a rift that was seized upon by the need for vengeance and the opportunistic apostates. (LE SECOND GASP) In this realm of uncertainty came the paranoia of the new Summit that rightly assumed Macron would not go quietly into the night! From there on, preparations were started. Now, it comes to fruition that a sect within the Sons has set themselves apart from the Clan, taking what they believe is their right. Who side will you fall upon? That of the Clan (woot, we rock), or that of the spurned Sons (boooo, I kid)?
