Greetings fellow Shar Dakhanians, I come before you again with our House Monthly Report, I will wait for applause. A few things have happened since my last report. The AWOL check has been completed, if you take a look at our roster page on the main site you will notice quite a difference in its length. The year-long Dark Crusade has also taken hold of us all. The Prologue, which CNS took first in BTW, as well as the first round of events have come and gone. The Clan did not win Nfolgai, but I know a lot of people tried, and that is what I appreciate. Although we did not win, I noticed several people placed in the competitions, so be on the lookout for those awards soon. The missing out of obtaining the planet should fuel us for the next phase of the Dark Crusade. Also if you have not read the recent emails, the Summit really wants to know what it is that you expect out of the DJB. Both the Consul and Proconsul have made it perfectly known that none of the Summit has the proverbial closed door, your views and opinions count too.

If you are unaware, as the Dark Crusade takes up the first two weeks of every month and competitions have been put on somewhat a hold. That is not to say they are not allowed entirely, but the scope of them should be on the smaller side as to not burn ourselves out for the DC. I believe SGT Roxas is brewing a compy up right now for the down time, if you have not joined the Battleteam yet you need only to email him with the request.

Quaestor Challenge of the Month:

Well, the Quaestor challenge of the month can finally commence. I have noticed recently that many of you have been taking SA courses. I applaud this tenfold, the Shadow Academy is personally one of my favorite parts of the club, check my record I have taken 37 courses. My challenge to all HSD members is to achieve a Maven of your choice by the end of March. Please do not place this challenge higher that the events of the Dark Crusade. This is a side challenge intended to open your knowledge of the Star Wars universe. I will even be participating in this challenge, so do not think the task in on your shoulders alone.

This is the first time since I became leadership in Shar Dakhan that almost everyone in the roster has awards to show off. It was a pleasure going through all those emails detailing all the hard work you folks accomplish. Worry not, for those of you who have done great things in Feb, your time to shine is coming too, but we still have few days left of Feb so I have omitted them from this report.

In conclusion, I was kind of sad to see the talent we lost due to the AWOL check. One thing that is very imperative is that you keep track of your emails. Check spam filters every once in a while, they may be your undoing. I hope to see a parallel if not greater participation in the next phase of the Dark Crusade. This is no reprimand, I know Real Life comes first too well having just lost a family member. We do sort of have a reputation to hold on to though, we do not call ourselves the rightful heirs for no reason. For Sadow!
