The Force screamed a warning in his ear, but it was too late.
Lights flickered out, and the trickling rivulet of the Force became a torrential, stormy sea. Around him, lightsabers hissed to life. Teal, sapphire, vermillion, crimson. Behind the blades were hooded figures, concealed faces. They were his comrades, his brothers.
“This is it, eh?†His gravelly voice echoed through his small office.
One stepped forward, the sapphire hue of his blade throwing an eerie veil over the dark-skinned Zabrak.
“It is neither the end, nor the beginning,†the hooded figure said menacingly.
Before the Zabrak could respond, a boot connected with the back of his knee. He fell forward, rolling onto his back in a vain attempt to retaliate against his attacker... but not before a second boot collided with his temple. His body went limp as he drifted out of consciousness.

He awoke to the blinding glare of Krayiss Prime. Every beat of his heart sent another dull shot of pain across his temples. Raising one hand as a makeshift visor, he pushed himself wearily to his feet. Heat haze rose off the scorching, bone-white sand of the valley. Krayiss II was barren, lifeless, devoid of any real life. And here he stood concussed and confused. The Zabrak brushed the sand off his bare shoulders and chest and turned to the looming temple behind.
As he turned, his attention was immediately drawn to a hooded quartet appearing from behind the library-temple’s sunken obelisk. He turned back around, scanning the arid valley for an escape, but saw only another trio of hooded figures approaching him from behind.
“Who are you?†The Zabrak inquired.
“Cethgus,†the largest of the hooded figures stepped forward; the others stopped as he approached, “You have served the Shadow Clan admirably...â€
As the larger hooded figure spoke, the four behind stepped forward, grabbing hold of the Zabrak and wrestling him to the floor. The larger figure stepped forward, pulling the hood from his face.
Cethgus’ eyes widened, “Wun?â€
The Consul stepped forward, pulling the blade Shadesworn cloak close around his hunkering frame. “Gentlemen. Take him.â€
Four hooded enforcers grabbed the Zabrak roughly, using fists and elbows in rudimentary attempts at subduing the heavily-muscled Aedile. With the help of two of the hooded figures standing behind Wuntila, Cethgus was manoeuvred and placed on a thin, alabaster step in front of the library-temple's protruding obelisk. The Dragon walked forward, looming over his Aedile, his salt-and-pepper hair glistening in the mid-day sun.
“Cethgus Tiberus Entar,†Wuntila began, removing his robes to reveal his bare naval bearing the mark of the di Tenebrous Arconae. The others followed suit. Timeros, Strategos, James, Marick, Nadrin and Orv all held the Zabrak down as the Consul spoke. “You have devoted yourself wholly to this clan. You have been an example, a true warrior on Arcona's front line. It was you who led our men to war on the ground. It was you who stepped up and flew the banner in the Invasion of New Tython. Devotion is a term overused by our brethren; it has become a synonym for dedication. We see devotion as more than that. Devotion is living the clan, breathing it, being its embodiment. The clan personified, if you will. You, Cethgus, have demonstrated this devotion. And now you will feel what it means to be recognised for this devotion."
The Consul stepped back, nodding to Timeros. The Adept stepped forward, brushing a golden lock from his pallid face. "The crusade has seen us removed from Selen..." the former Consul of clan Arcona took two tools from his cloak; one looked like a stick with a number of needles on the end, the other was a larger, thicker stick, presumably used to hammer the former implement. "But the library-temple of a former Sith world will be sufficient a place as any to perform the ritual." Marick stepped forward, handing Timeros a small vial of ink emblazoned with the golden logo of the Shadesworn and clan Arcona.
"When you rise," The Consul began, "You will rise a member of the di Tenebrous Arconae..." The Zabrak wriggled and writhed as Timeros dipped the needled instrument into the ink. The Adept looked up at the Consul, received a nod, and began tapping the needles into the Aedile's skin with the other instrument, "... but I must warn you, it will hurt..."
Screams rung out across the valley. The ritual had begun...
di Tenebrous Arconae means a lot of things. To join its prestigious ranks, it takes years of hard-work, dedication and a modicum of success. Unlike most other unit titles, Arconae requires a member to wholly devote themself to the clan. It takes many years, and a significant amount of effort. Today I'm proud to extend my personal congratulations to Cethgus Tiberius Entar Arconae for becoming a member of the di Tenebrous Arconae! Well done, Ceth. You've more than earned it!
The Crusade: Phase I, Chapter II - Clan Arcona Consul Report
So, Chapter I has ended and guess what? We had 116 entries! That’s 30 more entries than the next highest unit, and a solid 100 more than the worst performing unit in our bracket. Honestly? This is phenomenal. I couldn’t be more proud of every single one of you who participated. You came out and showed the Brotherhood what Arcona can do. And I know as much as you guys that this was in no way Arcona at full-speed. We were at half-sail and a number of our members, for one reason or another, were unable to participate. This time round is different… much different. Chapter Two will be our crucible. This will be our chance to show what Arcona can do with its sights on the prize. A number of you were shocked at the scoring system, and a number had some serious accusations, but in reality it was not the scoring system that saw victory slip from our grasp. No, it was simply a numbers game. Entries divided by members. It was literally that simple.
Almost too simple...
I’ve done the math (<small>I know, me doing mathematics! Amazing, eh?!</small>) and there are some startling results. If we take away all of the members who are Novice and below (I think everyone who’s been here a while should understand why), and all those on LoA, Taldryan would be left with 38 members. So, let’s use the scoring system metrics: 78 entries divided by 32 members equals 2.05. If we then apply the same scoring system to Arcona (116 entries divided by 53 members) then Arcona would’ve had a score of 2.18. So, removing all members one wouldn’t expect to participate at all, it is clear to see that Arcona was the leader by a rather large margin. And, need I say it again? That was at half-sail. Think about what we can do in this next Chapter if you set your sights on it.
I say ‘you’ because there’s only so much the summit and I can do. I went 6/6 last Chapter, as did a number of the summit, but in this kind of situation we have to rally together and work as a collective. A small, core group cannot carry the weight. Traditionally this has never been the case in Arcona, anyway – Arcona has always been a place of consistent activity, a place where everyone rallies behind the Arconan banner all for the sake of the Clan and its members. Now its time to reignite that vested interest We have a Crusade to win, and we can’t do it without everyone pulling together and giving their all. I know you are all capable. I ask only a participation rate of two-thirds from each of you. If we have 6 events again, I expect every able-bodied (by that, I mean active and present) member of the clan to submit 4 entries. If we have 8, I expect you to submit in 6. I don’t think this is a big ask. Especially given the amount of time, preparation and planning has gone into this event. Indeed, it’s pitched as an easy-going event. 2 weeks is plenty of time to get your submissions in. If they’re shit, so be it. You’ve still done your bit for the clan. That, in my eyes, is what truly counts. (<small>Just remember, if you’re participating simply for participation’s sake, make sure you fulfil all requirements set in the event to which you are entering – our numbers were reduced by disqualifications last time</small>).
I don’t know about each of you, but I’m in this to win it. And I know that Arcona could easily win this event if we wanted to. I’m always willing to help, to proof-read, to bounce ideas off. I know every single member of the summit abides by that same principle, too. If you’re concerned/stuck, let us know. We can help.
Win this for yourself, win this for your friends and fellow Arconans, win this for our clan. We’ve got this far, we’ve walked over a Great Jedi War, we re-clanned, and we’re still the most successful unit. Every bit of that success is a direct result of the membership. Not myself, not the Arconae, not Wally, not the House Summits. Its all been down to you guys. I’ll be out on the front line, and I expect you all to be there with me.
Arcona has selected to attack Rhelg, along with Taldryan and Scholae Palatinae. That means we've got a second chance at knocking Taldryan off their new mantle. I think this is as good as time as any to step up and flex our muscles.

Run-on teams
Okay, so, as I'm sure you're all aware from Sarin's little newspost, run-ons will be around in this upcoming Chapter. Given that Clan Arcona was first conceived by Charlie Sheen during a hardcore sex and drug binge, it would be fair to suggest that anarchy is the correct way to organise our efforts in this event. Well, we're going to do it slightly differently this time. We are, in fact, using The Arcona Run-on Team Recording Device of Doom. This will enable us to provide those searching for groups the opportunity to register their interests, and we can set them up with a group as and when responses come in. This should mean that we can optimise our output of teams and thus entries in this event.
For your own good, pleaaaaseee use this form. It will not only help us get more entries, but it will help you and your team.

I am honoured to be recommending Etah for this Dark Cross for his hard work and dedication as Battleteam Leader of Spectre Cell, as well as his activity during Dark Crusade Phase I. He has been a constant pillar of leadership and activity inside of House Galeres as one of the two Battleteam Leaders.
Though the above recc speaks about his activity inside of Dark Crusade, I will be speaking about his time as a leader of the Battleteam and what he does above and beyond the call of duty. During Dark Crusade, Etah continued to lead his team from the front lines; he was hard working and active, even sending out a motivational email to get members of his team working once again. He is constantly active and participating, and during his time he is expanding the fictional development of his team. Getting members of his team involved in creating and developing the future of Spectre Cell, making them work as one unit.
For all of the reasons above and his dedication to his team, and its members I feel he is deserving of this reward. Keep up the hard work for us Etah you are doing a brilliant job man.

Yet she has constantly pushed forward and improved immensely, justifying my choice in giving her the opportunity to become BTL of Dark Forge. Her BT had a fantastic showing during the first part of the Dark Crusade and she also participated in three events. She got entries In for The Hunt, the SAâ??s Encryption course and she assisted her wiki team in achieving 2nd place in the Krayiss II wiki event. Her hard work and perseverance contributed to Arconaâ??s placing and the fantastic showing from Galeres. Congrats, Nath.

I am honoured to be recommending Nath Voth for this Anteian Cross, her hard work during Dark Crusades was inspiring enough. Though I will speak about what she has been doing in her time as Battle Team Leader of Dark Forge.
Nath Voth is a newer member of the Clan, but is defiantly as determined as older ones; during Dark Crusade Phase I the position of BTL became open of Dark Forge. Instantly we put Nath into the position and she took to it like wild fire. She was determined to get her team active and motivated, instantly talking to them on IRC, Email and any other form she could. Bringing in newer members into the team and leading it from the front during this time.
For someone with no experience or any kind of knowledge of leadership, she stepped up to the plate, pushing herself harder to improve relations within the team, and getting as many entries in as possible from members inside of her team. For all of these reasons and her activity inside of Dark Forge I believe she is deserving of this medal. Thank you for stepping up to the challenge Nath and keep the hard work up in the future.

So Iâ??m adding my two cents in to this rec. TT kicked arse for Galeres and Arcona during the first two weeks of the Dark Crusade. His fiction was fantastic and made me laugh a fair few times and made me want more. His work also secured his wiki team 4th place alongside the other events he submitted to. He created a form that allowed members of Arcona to input their pin, name, and select from a drop down of events. It also allowed you to track how many CF's you earned over the course of the event. His form took all the data and created a lovely spreadsheet that not only shows who submited to what event, but also broke down percentages of individual members, tallied the total number of possible particpants and displayed it against the total number of actual submissions. Since joining one month and eight days ago she has already worked herself through the journeyman ranks to get to the rank of Guardian. Though most people set themselves to only achieve the goals required for the next rank. Nath has stepped out from that and focused on doing other things at the same time, though helping her team inside of the Dark Crusade Run-On and achieving five Clusters of Ice in this event. It is what she does for others; she is constantly a opinion, and a helpful hand on IRC. If you need any help Nath normally is always the first to offer regardless of what it is. Mainly she has been seen proofing anything from Run-On posts in the Dark Crusade for members, till recently.
She was a massive influence in a revamp of the BAC Darkest Nightâ??s wiki pages, proofing everyoneâ??s work and going out of her way to help as much as possible. This took time and dedication in which she was fully involved and something unexpected of a new member. She proofed a total of six wiki pages, added comments and opinion to each of them, as well as having a in-depth look at anything that could be expanded or improved. Spending time with the member who wrote the page and communicating with them she had a massive amount of input into the pages.
Throughout her time inside of House Galeres and Clan Arcona, and for this I cannot say thank you enough. Keep up the hard work Nath, you are doing one hell of a job.
