Proconsul Report

Marick Arconae sat at his computer terminal in his spartan office. He kept his head propped up with his chin resting in the nook of his palm as he stared blankly at the screen before him. He numbly tapped on the screen with one finger in a simple, repetitive motion. They had only been gone two weeks, but his inbox had apparently not gotten the memo.

"This could take a while," The Hapan grumbled.

(Now with twice the Aurebesh. Bitches love Aurebesh)

I'm back, bitches.

It's been a while since I've done one of these. Following the example set forth by the Dark Council, I will give you what little I can report between Wun's awesome Consul Report (and the subsequent Arcona House Reports) followed by a picture of a hot chick and a hot dude (to be fair) in Cosplay relating to Star Wars. Step 3: Profit.

  • So. Results! Raken just put out his report, and long story short: we won. And not just won, we dominated. Arcona logged 174 entries, with a ratio of 2.12. Let that number sink in.

First, that means that we blew past the 1.5 mark required to get our extra Special Forces slot. Second, the next highest unit in total submissions was Taldryan at 66. That means we scored more than double the amount of any other unit in the Brotherhood. What else could be expected from the First Clan?

Taking it one step further, if you were to evenly divide Arcona in half, we would still come in at 87 entires, 20 more than any other unit.

This one goes to all of you, Arcona. Wuntila set a bar, a goal, and you all rose to it. I am proud of every single one of you. We are still waiting on the Fiction results, so I will leave the shout-outs to all of our Novae winners to Wuntila's upcoming Consul report. Keep an eye out for it!

  • I just wanted to give a special shout out to our wiki team. You guys all really brought the noise, and this Gold Novae belongs to each of you!

  • What else? Uh, Wun and I had an awesome vacation! We hung out for an entire 10 days while I showed him around New York City. It was a lot of fun, and a well deserved vacation for both of us. I'm sure he will tell you more about it in his upcoming report.

(It's funny 'cuz... Sam is from England, Wally is American...GET IT?!

(This is revenge for Sam always putting something about me in his reports) In honor of Sarin: The Bicep lick.

  • In the meantime, both Galares and Qel-Droma are running respective events to keep you all comfortably occupied while we gear up for Phase II of the Dark Crusade. If you have questions, make sure to check with your House Leaders.

  • Locke stepped down as CNS Consul, and Korras has taken on the role of interm-Consul. This happens in the NFL all the time, so I'm sure it will work out swimmingly.

  • Fun Fact: Wun and I are now the longest tenured leadership duo in the entire club. Duh, winning ;)

  • Combat Master Report/Competition:

So, I know you all check the main page regularly (because I always did before I was PCON... >.> coughs). So you all know that Mav threw up a report detailing some of the awesome work we've doing on the new Character Sheets. He is even giving each of you the chance to help with a new contest! It's not a hard one, and everyone should be able to submit something.

Details can be found here in Mav's report.

Mav does a pretty good job of explaining it, but here are some examples of ones that I have made.

Combat Aspect: Keep Calm and Dodge!

[CHARACTER] knows that the best way to stay alive is to avoid things that could potentially kill you. That goes twice for close quarters combat when you can be facing anything from a lightsabers to a warhammers. [CHARACTER] uses this knowledge to remain calm and focused, and to dodge the enemies attacks with grace and guile. While dodging, [CHARACTER] looks for openings in the opponents attack and waits for the opportune moment to strike or catch them off balance. While effective, this style

Doomsayer

For [CHARACTER] everything is a sign of the apocalypse or a bad omen. [HE/SHE] tends to over-dramatize events when they happen, citing existential reasons or explanations for the phenomenons. A hopeless pessimistic, [CHARACTER] tends to get on the nerves of comrades fairly easily. Pessimism does have it's moments, however, and the constant paranoia can often lead, in rare cases, to foresight of incoming danger.

Remember that all perks should be balanced if possible. Some can be pure perk, but could also be pure Flaws. Flaws are what make character interesting, and a big part of making likable characters is to give them interesting and organic flaws that make them easier to relate to.

That's all for now. Oh right, pictures:

...yea, it's actually hard to find "hot" guys Cosplaying. Feel free to send me alternatives if you find them: [Log in to view e-mail addresses]

Until next time.

Tigerblood, invicta, Duh Winning.

Winning and irony. That is all.
