Clan Naga Sadow Consul Report October 11

So, it’s been a while since the last time I did one of these… eight years, six months and one week in fact, but they won’t be much different from the PCON reports I wrote that I know you all loved so yay!

With that over with, let’s get to the fun stuff, first among which is…

All the sinning?

As you know our joint competition with Taldryan, Sins of our Fathers, has ended, with Naga Sadow winning the run on event and also with our PCON winning the propaganda event (mostly because he decided to use Yacks instead of me) and with Rosh Nyine coming in second in the gaming event.

I’d also like to thank Yacks for coming up with and doing pretty much all the work organizing this competition.

What’s going on in Naga Sadow?

I’m glad I asked! With the summit being at full capacity again we’ve already had some pretty good discussions about the future of the Clan.

First change you’ll see is fictional, in the past Naga Sadow had the Dlarit Corporation and D-SOG and with that came a lot of different things for people to keep track of and having to look up much of it whenever they were writing fiction just to make sure they got it right, on top of that having to worry about the fact that most people in Dlarit had no idea we were dark jedi and such.

All of that is more or less gone, Dlarit is a shadow of its former self and no longer under our direct control and neither is our system for that matter, at least not openly, we might have planted spies/puppets/whatever in the new governments and such that have taken over after the collapse of Dlarit.

That also leaves us to interact with our fleet and ground forces freely since fictionally they’re all now under our direct control and know the truth of what we are.
With all this we’ve also pretty much settled on a new fictional structure for Naga Sadow, that of a crime ring/underworld deal, like the Black Sun or the Hutt Cartels take your pick.

How does all of this impact you? Well first of all we hope it gives you freer rein when deciding what type of character you want to be. You want to be a pirate? Fine. You want to be an assassin? Also fine. You want to use your mastery of the force for accounting? I’m sure those are needed in the underworld as well!

There was talk of a run on a while ago…

Yes, there was but it was put on hold because of our competition with Taldryan, in which you guys did awesome in the run on as I said earlier.
Goat… Xanos (should remember that for reports and such) has written up the opening post for it already and it does a good job at explaining what’s been going on in CNS and the Orian System in the last year, it’ll start soon so look forward to it!

What’s going on in the big wide DB world?

Well first of all your friendly neighborhood M:MAA is still offering to update the history section of your dossiers if stuff is missing, you can find the news post by the Panda here.

Our Herald Shikyo resigned after six years on the job and a huge number of gfx created so thanks for all the work you’ve done Shik.

Also in the news recently, Beardy and Red… I mean Muz and Raken has decided to create a tribune position to carry our social media responsibilities and making sure the DB’s presence in that brave new world is known.
