Wow, it’s been a while since the last one of these, sorry about that… I was err… too busy Crusading! Yes, that’s it.
Anyways while I’m on the subject of the Crusade, it’s over and I’m proud of Naga Sadow for finishing strong with a participation ratio of 1.48 making it our second best round of the whole thing. While we didn’t win on Ziost we still got some good results, Locke achieved a second place in the General Forces fiction event, Rosh managed a third place in the Special Forces gaming event and the Advertising submission from our Special Forces team came in third place as well!
Medals have gone out to people based on their participation in phase two of the Crusade so congratulations to all the people who were on the receiving end of that.
Well if you’ve read Vaar’s Aedile reports you’ll already have seen some of the spoilers he blabbed about. In his most recent report he mentioned the Black Guard which we will finally see the return of after roughly six months.
We will also see the return of another CNS tradition in the coming weeks, the Clan Artisans competition. As far as I can tell the last one of these we ran was Fractured Mirror back in 2009 which took place in an alternate timeline and previously they have been used for different things, like creating the Orian System after the exodus back in 2003.
This time it will deal with the new fictional direction Naga Sadow has/is taking so look out for more on this soon!

You may have noticed that you received an email letting you know that you have been accepted into the Shadow Academy Society. As the name implies this is like the GMRG or the ACC society except it’s for the Shadow Academy. Along with this come some fancy goodies you can display on your dossier as you rise through the ranks in the society. If you want to read more about it and are interested in seeing what it takes to rise through the ranks you can read the latest Headmaster report and the wiki article, on the other hand if you prefer not knowing the requirements and just trying stuff to rise through the ranks you should head over to the Shadow Academy and start taking the courses they offer since Solari promised that all you have to do is take courses and earn SA Degrees!
Recently the promotion requirements for journeymen also changed so now they’re guidelines and they can be found here, it also includes some basic requirements for the equite ranks.
Since we’re on a MAA related topic I will move on to AWOL checks. Remember that the AWOL checks are now being done by checking when you last logged into the DB site so always log in when you’re there.
