Brethren,

Today, I have the honor of announcing two changes to the Dark Council.

The first of these is the Selection of a new Justicar. Justicar, as I mentioned in an earlier report, is no small job. We had a few applications that came through, and Halcyon and I discussed them before I decided which to use as my nomination. From there, we hosted a question and answer vetting session with the Dark Council (and included the Quaestors as well). After that, we had a vote, of which 3/4 of all votes were needed to ratify the selection.

Earlier today, all but one vote was cast, and all in favor of the nominee, Taigikori Aybara.

Obviously, with Taigikori moving into the Justicar office, it left his Headmaster office vacant. Thankfully, he has had a lot of help over the years from his Praetor, Ronovi Tavisaen. It is without hesitation that I entrust her with the position of Headmaster, the stewardship of the Shadow Academy, and the charge of educating our new apprentices. She has been instrumental in much of Taigikori's work and projects over her tenure as Praetor, and she is keen on a couple new projects of her own.
