Clan Naga Sadow Consul Report - June 2012

**Orian System

Home of Clan Naga Sadow**

All across the Orian System, communications go dark as the Clan's communication network shut itself down in a predetermined in reaction sequence to an attack on the central system on the world of Sepros. Without communications, the ships of the fleet are left with no direction, the troops on the ground with no new orders, holding their positions without any idea of what is happening beyond their immediate surroundings.

On Sepros, the Clan leadership attempts to regain control of the situation. In the Temple of Sorrow - the central command office of the Consul and Proconsul - the members of the Clan are gathered to hear their new Consul speak in person, but something is not right. Despite the system-wide blackout - or perhaps because of it - something has caused the temple defense systems to turn on those they are meant to protect. Meanwhile, survivors of the forsaken Ekind race close in around the temple, driven by some dark force. The same dark forces that seem to be at work deep in the temple, slowly spreading their malaise.

With haste, the Summit works to contain the problem. For the first time the Quaestor of House Marka Ragnos, Kalia Phoenyx, and her Aedile Methyas Pepoi L'eonheart deploy SHADOW, a new intelligence directive, to track down the source of the darkness sweeping through the temple. Atra Ventus, the young Quaestor of House Shar Dakhan, leads the bewildered Dark Jedi of the Clan in the retaking of the Temple and the subduction of its renegade defense systems, all the while aware of the impending threat closing in from the surrounding forest.

On the temple's sublevels, Macron Goura Sadow, deposed Consul and mad alchemist, moves toward a dark rendezvous with revenge in his heart. At the same time, the Betrayer, Xanos Zorrixor, his dark master, Trevarus Caerick, and Sildrin Sadow seek to plunder the knowledge of the Clan's ancient archives, deep below the Temple.

And in his office, Consul Locke Sonjie and his Proconsul, Teu Pepoi plan their next move, attempting regain control of the Clan's network. Locke knows that it is only a matter of time before he and Macron will meet again...

Report time again. The fiction above is a short summary of the events of the Children of Revolution plot-line up to this point. The Apostates (Trev, Xanos, Sildrin, and Macron) are making their move, so hold onto the seat of your pants! Week 2 of competitions just ended and Atra will release the next round tomorrow. So far the event has gone really well and has been a lot of fun. If you're still not sure what to do, shoot me a message and I'll be glad to help you out. :)

Right now, Mirado is also running a fun little fiction competition entitled Evaluation Time to decide CNS's participants for the Voice's new Exile competition. If you like writing, and would like to represent CNS in this DB-wide competition (and like shinies!) be sure to submit before the Tuesday night deadline! The fiction to enter doesn't require much work and the actual Runon event begins on the 20th. You can find details here.

Also, don't forget about Waldron Ravenblade's DB-wide graphics competition "What's your mount?" which is still accepting entries until July 1st. You can find details here.

Finally, we've got more plans for fun stuff after Children of Revolution ends, but nothing we can talk about quite yet. ;)

In DB-wide news, Ronovi is still taking signups for the first debate event of the Shadow Academy Debate League until the 20th. See her news article from the 4th of this month for details!

On the TOR side, we're switching servers from Keller's Void, which is nearly dead, to a much more populated server called Jedi Covenant. Read Fremoc's news post from the 12th for details!

As Children of Revolution develops, we've had some merit awards go out. Macron, Xanos, Sildrin, Malisane, and Methyas have received Dark Crosses for their efforts to help shape the current event. Thanks for putting on a good show guys!

Methyas has also earned an Anteian Cross, because he's just that cool. :)

Short and sweet, the end!

TL;DR:

  • Children of Revolution going strong

  • DCs for helping design it

  • Methyas gets an AC

  • Do Mirado and Waldron's comps now!

  • Sign up for the Debate League!

  • Change your character over (if you play TOR)!

Until next time,

For Sadow!
