Clan Tarentum,
To begin with I apologize for the lateness of this report, I've had a rather hectic week, as many of us had with the holidays and the like. Anyway, to address a few issues within the Clan at the moment. . .
Gladius Quaestor:Thus far I have received three applications for this position, the last two just recently - and I will try and make a swift decision as soon as I can sort through all the details and possible cause and effect of each choice. ;) Expect a new Quaestor to be placed by the end of next week. Meanwhile, Aedile Sith Bloodfyre is fully in charge and I expect all of Gladius to treat him as they would their Quaestor. As will I, which means, Sith, you are more than welcome to start up any little competitions within the house should you see fit.
Reports: I asked for reports before Sunday so that I could send my report, and while I'm not in the greatest position to talk right now - even though it is two days past, I'm still missing reports from Cestus and Gladius. So to be more definite with this - I want all house reports by Friday. If you are unable to get it in, send me a mail and tell me what the problem is and we'll try and work something out. Remember, I like the house reports to include the reports from the Quaestor, Aedile, Battleteam leaders, Rollmasters. . .about any position within the house.
Archives: I've still not received any submission to the Clan Archives - and trust me, I know you people write constantly. Send something in so we can show it off. House/Clan fiction, personal character fiction, humorous, whatever you like.
Chronicles of the Mist: Due to some low participation in these events, I've decided to restructure the way we will be submitting each event, as I realize the two week deadlines for each are going to end up running into the holidays again and many times it is hard to get to a computer to submit things.
We have events III-V left. . and I believe I will leave up event II as well, as I'm really interested in reading some good Krath submissions for that one. ;) I'm going to give each house until:
December 15th, 2001 11:59pm EST to submit Events II, III, and V [+ Open]
December 22nd, 2001 11:59 pm EST to submit Event IV
Event IV will be collaborative effort of the battleteams within each house which is why I'm giving one extra week for those to be submitted. And remember, if you know you won't be around a computer the 15th, or 22nd. . get started sooner and send it in when you are. ;)

Greetings House Tridens,
Well, I have finally returned from my emergency leave, and figured I would
go ahead and put out a report for this last week, although it will be a bit
late. My apologies to everyone for the setback that my RL business trip made
in getting things more organized this past week. But with our AED back from
leave as well now there will be some updated news and announcements made
during this week. CMDRs, there will be a follow-up to this report with
specific orders for each of you. In the meantime here is a weekly report,
and keep in mind that there will be a collection of information from the
past 14 days included so as to catch everyone up on the same information.

Alrighty, lets start off by spreading the news of the awards that were
presented for the Chronicles of the Mist, Event I Sith Event! The awardees

I am sorry this report is late again but for the second week in a row FLIGHT
2 DIDN'T REPORT TO FACE! if it happpens next week I will be REALY REALY MAD!
now on to the report...
*MD flys back down into the atmosphere after a few skirmishes with Rogue. He
thinks he sees the castle Tarentum through the fog and then sees the landing
becon. He sets his small ship down on the side of the castle and hits on the
door until he falls into the main entrance.He stands up to see a bunch of
girls staring at him. The tallest greets him, "Welcon to the castle anthrax.
I am Zute". "The castle anthrax?". "Yes well is isn't a very good name...
Any way come in the beds here are very big and comfortable. we are all girls
ages 16-19." After a long time of trying to get out he meets back with the
same girl, "Zute?". "I'm not Zute, I'm her twin Sister.". "Ok just were is
teh Castle Tarentum, I saw teh landing light outside." "Oh bad Zute, bad bad
Zute. We have a lamp that is landing light shaped, it isn't the first time
this has happened. Here at the castle anthrax we have only one punishment...
You must tie her on a bed and spank her. And then spank me, yes give us all
a good spanking!" Just then Face and a bunch of monkeys jump in and free
MD(complettly against my will:P)*Gotta love Monty Python:P

HH vs SZ!:
Ok me and Sicky set the comp up and we want 100% participation! The battles
are TIE-DB#3, XvT-DB#3 and XWA-TC#11. MP comps are every night from 2-4 and
7-9 EST in #Tarentum. Get to your ships!

Welcome fellow Sith,
A new comp against of fellow Squadron HammerHead is on now, details are:
Ok, There will be 5 parts to this Comp, 3 SP and 2 MP. I will be keeping
score of MP and XWA SP. Sicky will keep score for XvT and TIE SP battles.

The MP will be at 8-10pm EST every night on #Tarentum and also for those of

The winner and runner up in each catagory will get a medal and the best over

DB News Sith Business
From the SHW
1) Work on SHW Site is coming along slowly.
2) The initial survey of the Sith Leadership is not bad, though defenitely
not what I had hoped, or expected. The AED from Alvaak, and the QUA from
Satal Keto failed to answer my summons, and no information as to their being
on leave was reported. Obviously, this will have to be looked into.
Don't expect it to be a pleasant experience.
3) I have been collecting some very good ideas from the Summit members who
bothered to reply. While some are impractical, most are very good ideas,
which I hope I will be able to work on.
4) I have been in contact with SCL Grail, and am discussing various
information about the new DB Combat Centre. This will be a great hub for
people to host Multiplayer Games From.
5) I am waiting on a couple ideas of mine to be authorized from either FF or
Ast. Hopefully, it'll come in soon so I can start my planning.
6) Sith Summits: Look forward to a new announcement coming over the mailing
list either Saturday, or Sunday. It'll be the first step in a long road to
making the Sith Order a hell of a lot more fun.

HammerHead vs. Sub-Zero Competition
HH and SZ are squaring off on an inter-House competition to find out who the
best Battle Team really is. Each CMDR has listed the details for the event
in their respective weekly reports. I look forward to seeing the ensuing
battle rage, and trust that everyone will remember that in the end we are
all on the same team here in House Tridens. LOL
Clan Tarentum Competition Chronicles of the Mist
The Clan Comp has now ended. Since I just returned from emergency leave Im
am at this time unsure of what level of participation Tridens had in Event
II. But you can be sure Ill find out soon enough. Just hope it doesnt
involve a lightning bolt in my arse from the CON when I visit with her about
the results. :P

Congratulations to PRT Koyi Komad for finishing the event in First Place! I
was happy to see some participation from this many pilots, but I also know
that we can do better in overall participation. CMDRs, be sure and stress
the importance of battle readiness to your pilots for future events!

CMDR/JH Sickman has notified me that the SZ Battle Team has a new home at

Merit Points
Apparently just before I left there were some questions raised within House
Tridens on how the merit points are to be calculated. So here is a brief
synopsis to help explain the system. All pilot files submitted by a pilot
will receive a point for each mission completed in the battle. So if you
complete a 6-mission battle, then you will receive 6 merit points. For
competitions there will be a set amount of points given to each pilot that
participates, along with the points for the number of completed missions,
entries, etc. for that competition. So there are plenty of opportunities for
everyone to gain new points. Here is how the points for medals breaks down:
DC - 60 Merit pts
WC - 150 Merit pts
SC - 300 Merit pts
So lets get to those fighters and computer consoles and get active.
Remember, activity isnt only flying, it is also participating through
fiction, graphics, mission design, etc.!
House Tridens Message Board
Just a reminder for everyone in House Tridens regarding the House and Clan
Message Boards, these are in place for your use. The MBs can be a very
useful tool for learning more about your fellow brethren, as well as more
about your Team/House/Clan. Take advantage of their existence and use them.

Pilot Files
A reminder, especially to your newer Sith brethren. All pilot files for any
Competition/Event/Activity must be sent to your CMDR/AED/QUA, and if a Clan
Comp to the Con/Procon as well.
Shadow Academy
Recently some members of House Tridens have completed certain portions of
the SA. There has been some minor confusion from the HM since some of these
completed exams pertained to subjects that the newer members have to
complete in order to graduate from the SA. In so doing we have had at least
one member that was temporarily reduced in rank from GRD to ACO on the
database. This problem has been rectified, and my thanks to SBM Proton for
handling this while I was on leave. If anyone else experiences a similar
problem, or any other issue while completing courses at the SA please notify
your QUA and AED at once so that we can resolve the matter.
That just about covers everything! There will be more details and
information in the very near future. At present out newly appointed Sith
High Warrior is setting up some details with all of the Sith House QUAs in
the DB. So there will be a lot of exciting news and updates coming soon!
