• One new Arconian this week, please welcome NOV Bolan Remon (Obelisk). Membership is now back at 52, yay. :)

• Our little Clan Wide competition has ended. Im happy to say I got a fair amount of names and I would like to thank everyone for submitting. :) Winner of the Bad Guy/Bad Race Name is OW Mage! Congrats! A Sapphire Star is coming your way!

• Many submissions from Arconians for DV 26. Congrats and praise for GRD Leara, OW Mage and last but certainly not least PCON KAP Khobai!

• 1 week before the Clan wide competition begins! Preparations are almost done...details will be released on the 18th of May, one day before the competition actually starts. Background info is in the PCON's report.

Hail-

I've been writing the plotline for the Clan Competition which should be released in a week or two. The Clan Competition should last about a month. The current start date is set at May 19th and the proposed end date is June 9th.

At the moment the competition name is: "Fear of the Void Below", primarily because the evil bastard in the storyline is after forbidden occult knowledge which lets him banish people to the void. Because of a variety of circumstances, Arcona gets charged with stopping him.

Bleh, on to the weekly nursery rhyme!

The itsy bitsy spider went up the water spout,

   1. Plenty of promotions this week:  

         - JaMz3 was promoted to Jedi Hunter  

         -Vicious'Wok was promoted to Guardian  

         -Riel Estrada was promoted to Protector  

         -^Cyberguy^ was promoted to Dark Jedi Knight, giving him the priviedge to build and carry his own personal lightsaber.  

   2. Congratulations to everyone for their promotions. This is the type of stuff that I like to see. It really looks great for not only the individual, but also the House.  

   3. Awards  

         - Everyone has received their awards for winning in the previous competition.  

         -As for the artefact, ask Paladorion...

House News

1) As you all know we beat House Tridens of Tarentum in our very recent house comp. I would like to say congrats to those of you who flew and in particular to SBM Halcyon on coming second and taking the Silver Crescent :))

2) New Pandragon Commander has been busy since his appointment last week. He has already put up a BattleTeam Website, it can be viewed at http://www11.brinkster.com/sclegane/

3) Applications are now closed for the position of Apocalypse Commander. An announcement will be made in the next few days

4) The 3rd Event of Sith Wars is still under way, details below.

Start Date: Monday, Apr. 22, 0000h EST

End Date: Saturday, May 11, 2359h EST

Multiplayer matches will be flown for X-Wings vs. TIE Fighter and X-Wing Alliance in a custom melee arena. You can download it here for X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter and here for X-Wing Alliance.

1 vs. 1 Matches

All 1-on-1 events must be flown with a 5/5 connection (each pilot hosts 5 minutes of the battle) using the special Sith Wars melee arena. After the match, the losing pilot will report via the ladder form. Any given pilot may only fly another pilot once and only once, regardless of House or Battle-Team.

2 vs. 2 Matches

2-on-2 matches are a competition strictly between Houses. Any two pilots from one House can fly any two pilots from another House, though the pilots on the same team must be from the same House. All 2-on-2 matches are flown in the Sith Wars melee arena. Matches are reported via the 2v2 ladder form, by one of the losing parties. There are no limits on how many matches any individual can play against any other individual.

Custom Arena Hint

Due to the nature of the arena, using the "O" button to locate your opponent is often the fastest way to find him, over the rest of the nasty things trying to kill you

As SBM Halcyon has already said, we can win this one if we all pull together and participate. We have no current comps at the moment, so focus all your energies on this one!!!!!
