Clan Arcona

Tarkin is on leave, so I'm in charge until he gets back, whenever that is (I forget). Here's the clan report this week. I don't have much to add except that we're planning a Clan Feud with CNS and CSK. The details are being worked out as we speak. It should start July 1st if all goes well and last until August 1st. After that, Tarkin is going on vacation for a while, so Houses will have a chance to run thier own competitions. Then after that, if the Great Jedi War isn't ready we'll start another clan competition! That's all for now.

(In this report, I will use the same format, but phyle reports will be below in case I missed anything)

Competition Info

1. As you know, there is the Clan competition. I have received many submissions and the run-on is going well. I still encourage you all to participate as much as possible, especially those below DJK. Sounds like so far, everyone will be rewarded.

2. Under new guidelines, your Phyle leaders have be charged with keeping activity up in their own phyles (the same holds true for House and Clan levels). So, both Tetrarchs either have already implememnted ideas, or will have stuff in the future. Once again, always participate and if you are below DJK, CC Khobai and Pala.

3. Start prepping for the Great Jedi War, which will be coming up soon.

Medals, Promotions, an! d Awards

1. Korbane Ashoka has been promoted to KP. Congratulations on this big step.

2. KP Paladorion was awarded a Star of Eos for his assitance with the Dark Voice.

3. DJK ^Cyberguy^ has recieved 2 Dark Side Scrolls for submissions to the Dark Voice.

4. ^Cyberguy^ was also the first House member to receive a Letter of Merit for his work in the competition, however...

Arrivals and Departures

1. NOV Marius Carnifex has left the Brotherhood entriely, due to real life ! situations. I wish him the best of luck in whatever he does.

2. Also, just a reminder, I will be on semi-leave for six weeks (starting Sunday). I will have internet access where I am going, as well as probably having it in my room. However, since I don't know the extent of my activity levels, Paladorion will be in charge.

3. Current Roster stands at 26 members.

4. Finally, if you have not already joined a phyle, and would like to do so, there are three slots open (1 in Dark Orb, 2 in Hell's Gatekeepers). It is my hope that we will be able to open a third phyle permanently within the near future.

Week Ending 11th June 2002

The Fear of the Void Below run-on is drawing to a close, with Tarkin and

Khobai now squaring off against Malachai. The House message board

located at http://www.ehnet.org/! mb/viewforum.php?f=17 contains the

run-on, though it is a bit late to jump in now.

The Clan competition also continues, details can be found at

http://www25.brinkster.com/darkforge/arcona. The competition ends next

Sunday, the 23rd of June, so now is the time to prepare your event

submissions (if you haven’t done so already). At last report, Qel-Droma

was being outmatched by the grunts at House Galeres.

The Krath monthly topics continue, with this month’s topic being “the

Saber”. It concerns the main weapon of the Jedi, the Lightsaber.

I am planning an event for the Phyle, to commence soon. I have another

commitment to follow up first, so do not expect the new event until just

after the end of Fear of the Void Below. We should also gear up for a

few more projects that are on the way: creating a (large) Clanbook for

Arcona, and participating in two Vendettas (Great Jedi War and a

surprise ;).

I am also constructing a ! web site for the Phyle. My thanks goes to Leara

for preparing a site some time ago, however in order to better meet the

demands of Project Thallium, I have decided to create a site of my own.

I should have it fully planned by tonight, and with any luck I’ll begin

constructing it tomorrow.

Hell's Gatekeepers Phyle Report

Dark Jedi Knight Korbane Ashoka reporting in for Hells Gatekeepers of Clan

Arcona. We have some new faces in our phyle this time around. Be sure to

welcome them. I am putting out a call to our Webmasters right now. With the

new project thallium thing all Phyles must have a page. Well we have one

but I need someone that is willing to update it once in awhile. Cyberguy, I

think you made it orginally and if you have the time to do that then that

is good but anyone else that wants to get involved in the webpage let me

know.

Cyberguy was awarded DSSx2 for submitting 2 things to the Dark Voice. Good

job Cyberguy and I encourage all of you to do the same. I am the assisstant

editor so more then likely it will make it to the final copy. Sidius I

tried to fwd. your little story to the DV but I did not get a reply. So I

do not know what happened. You can just submit it to the next one if it is

not in this one.

Operation/Comp. News

Clan Arcona Comp. is up until June 23rd. I HIGHLY suggest that you

participate if you have not already. This is a great way to earn alot of

medals and perhaps a promotion. On another note you do not have to CC me

anything, infact I encourage you not to because I get enough stuff with the

Dark Voice. Instead do what cyberguy did and just send me an E-mail saying

what you have done. If you want my help or suggestion on one of your

submission that is a different story and go! right ahead. That is what I am

here for to help you.

Krath Monthly Topic for both the poem and story is 'Lightsaber'. I believe

he wants you to write about what it means to Jedi but I did not think that

was to cool because when I think of lightsabers I think of battles so I

made a big deul between to opponents. You guys can do what you want send

Be sure to CC them to Kahn and Paladorion if you participate if both I

believe they are giving out a little extra like a LoC or LoM.

**Upcoming Events*

Clan Arcona History Book, this is going to be a big project. While the

envoys will be the points of contact for making the book all of you will

need to submit as much as you can. This has not been attempted before that

I know of so our Clan will be setting the standard. I encourage all of you

to help out as much as possible.!

I am going to try to set-up another Phyle War as soon as the pace slows

down a bit. I thought the last one was fun and I think everyone else liked

it to. (I am still waiting on our artifact from Paladorion, he tells

me "Patience my young apprentice..." ;P

due to the massive brain overload of finals anf such for many people.

Also, a note to my happy-helper House summit (AED, SGTx2, RM) - I expect

that they're doing something, as per the Thallium changes, and I know

that yours is on it's way (as always) Redneck... ;)
