Another turbulent week has passed, get ready for some official information.

• Important things first. PCON Khobai resigned earlier week for a total of 6 hours, after which he retracted his resignation. This unresignation was mainly due to the support of you, the members of Clan Arcona. His reasons are well known and I am happy to state that the differences between Khobai and the DC have been resolved. The air needed to be cleared and has been done so.

• DGM Astatine has audited the various Clans in the DB concerning their activity. His preliminary results were unfavorable towards Clan Arcona. This was due to a mistake on part of yours truly, the Consul. Our last Clan wide competition was a great succes, generating much activity. However, I forgot to file it within the DB database, so it looked to DGM Astatine that we only had 3 small competitions in House Galeres. This is ofcourse an unacceptable number of competitions for one of the greatest Clan in the DB. I have explained this to DGM Astatine on IRC and the matter has been closed.

• Attention Battle Team Leaders! As part of your duty, you are required to hold competitions. I would like to see at least 1 competition held by the various Battle Teams during the month July. I already saw that Dark Orb has 2 competitions waiting for approval, good work KAP Sebastian!

• The Clan Feud between Clan Naga Sadow, Clan Tarentum and Clan Arcona will be postponed a day or 2, so we can put the finishing touches on it. The website of the Clan Feud is indeed up, point your browser to http://www.yogle.freeserve.co.uk/Feud/ and see what we have in store for you guys. Once the Feud start, you will get an email from me.

• The roster count is down to 71. :( We say goodbye to PRT Azrael (Sith) and DJK Zekk Terrik (Obelisk) who transferred to rogue. We hope they will return soon. We welcome back ex-HM and former Qel-Droma QUA Mejas Doto (Krath) and NOV Philo (Sith)!

• A great show you guys put on with the Krath Monthly topics! Winning 1st place and 2 2nd places is truly a remarkable feat. Congrats to PRT Riel Estrada (1st place fiction), KPN Gilkane (2nd place fiction) and OW Mage (2nd place poetry)! Lets do it again for July, I know you can do it. :)

GALERES SUMMER LADDER

This is it, guys! Our own ladder has arrived!

You have two months, starting on the 8th, to win as many matches as

possible against fellow Galeres members. I cannot award the Stars of

Eos, as I mentioned earlier in another email, but I thought I'd

reiterate it here.

The rules are still the same:

• only one match against any one person per day

• teams must be even

• winners must submit scores, CC:'ing the losers, and must have a

screenshot if requested

• 5 points per win, 3 per loss

• CF's for wins, Crescents for overall winners

• MOST IMPORTANT RULE All rules/circumstances that the match is

going to be played under must be agreed upon by all participants prior

to the match!

Final Thoughts

You guys are doing much better... I'm seeing a wider range of names in

my reports, which pleases me. If everybody steps up and does a little,

we function a lot better. No House should ride on a few members who are

highly active - we should all be involved. I take strides to bring in a

couple of CF's every week - why can't you? :)
