Greetings Tarentum,
Well, some interesting events have transpired over the week. I apologize for getting this out late, had a number of circumstances that continued to rise up, but on with it. First of all I think the issue concerning the recent . . . issues brought forth by a few members of Gladius needs to be addressed. I can honestly say it was a certainly a personal shock to me, and hence its a little hard to know how to respond. In the future, however, I would prefer things like these be handled with me before they become out of hand, as public slander of any member only hurts the House/Clan by giving especially newer members the idea that we are all on the brink of chaos, which I hope you all can see is not the case. There is nothing wrong with voicing concerns, but take care to do it professionally and with construction in mind -- not destruction. Concerning the comments on my leadership and the compilation of all my mistakes throughout my tenure as Consul -- I will concede that yes, I could improve in several areas and promise all of you that I will be trying to do such and if you have an idea or an area you would specifically like me to work on please e-mail/message me personally and let me know. =)
For Gladius, the sudden change in leadership is obviously hard, but these will be remedied very shortly. And as I was writing, the main position has been filled. Krath Archpriestess Telona Murrage will be the new Quaestor of House Gladius and I'm sure she will lead the house to greater heights. Gladius is an awesome group of people and I have faith you, and we all will conquer these temporary problems and grow as a House and a Clan from the experience. Also, I would like to say for Tarentum, that the Clan as a whole has done nothing but grow in the past few months all due to the tireless dedication of members and leaders alike working together to bring Tarentum back to the glory it deserves. And for that I thank all of you.
So, in other news. . ."Pulverise the PCON" competition is going on in which any member of Tarentum can challenge our beloved Proconsul Proton to battle in any aspect of the Brotherhood. Just e-mail the PCON at [Log in to view e-mail addresses] to issue your challenge. Dictate the platform (such as, TIEDB Battle 5), and we're set. The operating deadline will be two weeks from issuance of the challenge for both parties to fly the battle, complete the work of fiction, play the online match, etc. Looks like fun. :)
All Houses in Tarentum now have the Trials fully operational, with our last Trial Master, Jedi Hunter Sukuth of Cestus just finishing his. Thanks to Sukuth for all the work you put into these trials, I look forward to seeing it all pay off for Cestus and Tarentum. :) Cestus members may review a basic website done for the Obelisk trials here: http://trials.webz.cz
The Murder Mystery League has just started in the Krath Order, so Gladius be sure to get to work on that. Meanwhile, I'm still working on getting a competition together for the entire Clan. Yes, for those of you who couldn't tell from the subject line, (Stop asking what this is MD, you'll find out in a moment), it's time for another report from your friendly (sometimes), neighborhood (well relative), Aedile. (Yes, that would be me).
OK... now that I have over-abused parenthesis (parentheses?).....we move on to the news...and ellipsis..(ellipses?)....well the news is not that much really........there will be a forward following shortly, that is the PCON report....which contains all the Clan news....so I will focus in on House stuff......so with no more grammatical abuses....we begin
As I'm sure you have heard by now, Stingray has been reopened with a group of transfer members. Please make them all welcome here in Tridens and Tarentum. Please do not damage their fighters (or the pilots) beyond repair, as we will need them.
Sub-Zero has been challenged, and has accepted the challenge, from Black Omega Squadron, of House Ronin. They will be competing on all three platforms. Wish them luck.
If you are still Masterless, or Apprenticeless, please let me know ASAP. Since we have no Trials Master at this time, I am still running that, and in connection with that, I want to make sure all of our eligible candidates are properly supported during their Trials.
If you do not understand anything about how our Trials System, or Master/Apprentice system works, please, email me, or catch me online, and ask me. I will be more than happy to explain.
Starting next month, I am going to begin having an AED comp each month. Each month it will be something different, so keep on your toes. Awards will be given, providing there is enough participation (There must be at least 5 entries to have an award given (Emerald Star), and at least 10 entries for a first and second place( Sapphire Star and Emerald Star), at least 20 people must participate for me to award three places (Amethyst, Sapphire and Emerald Stars). (awards are subject to change)
This of course brings up my last point, right now the House stands at 25 members, if the house were say 40 members, there would be greater awards given for AED comps. Need I say more? Yes, you say? OK then, not only will I give out greater awards more often, but we will have the satisfaction of having fuller Battle-Teams, which will lead to easier times winning such events as the Sith League, which will not only bring us prestige and honor, but points for custom fighters, it will also give us more targets, and more perpetrators, for pranks and jokes, more people to fuel our run-ons, and many more graphics, battles, missions, and ideas in general to fill up our website, which will have more hands to work on it, so it will all be better, so avoid run-on sentences, and go get new members!
(For this week's bonus, I included a free set of lessons on how NOT to write, so if any of you are doing the Master/Apprentice competition, please do not use my examples in the positive sense!).

Greetings Gladius! Its late.. ermm early actually, on a Friday, so its time for a new report from yours truely. Coming to you every other week from somewhere on the floor of the cantina... usually.. ( so dont expect everything to be spelled right...:P )
Anyways, On to the news.. and there was much rejocing..
Headmaster Report

Welcome to my first official report as Headmaster of the Shadow Academy.
To date, 163 courses have been passed. Obelisk CORE has the highest
graduate number, and Krath CORE/Krath Grammar Studies have the least.
This week, the main focus of my report will be on the upgrades being
performed on the Shadow Academy.
Below are listed my upgrade plans. Read and love 'em. ;P
Phase One: Site Upgrade
This phase will entail making the site a little more gentle on the eyes,
as well as cleaning up some of the file mess. Will be completed
relatively quickly.
Phase Two: Material "Repairs"
This phase will entail fixing all the current courses, making questions
more understandable... generally making all the current material better.
Phase Three: Specialty Additions
This phase will be the most important, and involve the most fun. I will
be adding a full Shadow Academy staff at this time, as well as adding
some new, unique features.
Phase Four: New Material
This phase will be the continuation of the Shadow Academy. New courses
will be par for the course here.
Also, in addition to these four phases, there is also going to be some
work done with the TIE Corps IWATS academy, and Training Officer Mell.
Myself and Admiral Mell are currently discussing some options for the
betterment of Imperial Training at large.
I could bore you all with more random plans, but that's the gist of it.

Side Project #1
While work continues (I believe :P) on the Shadow Acadmey's first phase of upgrading under my reign, I've decided to get some other things of semi-importance accomplished.
I'm looking to compile an all-time graduate list for the Shadow Academy. I realize that this may not be plausible, but if all of the graduate lists can be hunted down, or a good number of the old Headmasters revived/contacted/pestered, it is possible we can get a complete (or nearly complete) listing.
But, I'm only one man. I grade tests, I fix tests, I make the SA better, and I feign at having a real life. So, help would be greatly appreciated. Anyone who aids me in my quest for an over-list will be thanked, possibly rewarded, and will NOT be getting Praetor or Magistrate. I don't understand why people can't figure out I don't need them yet... :P
So yea. Help your old friend Mage out a little.

Wow! A chance to beat up on a clan summit! Interested? Then keep reading.
This is a Clan Tarentum competition in which individual members have an
opportunity to win medals by defeating the proconsul in head-to-head
contests.
This is how it works: Any member of Tarentum is invited to challenge
Proconsul Proton to single combat. The platform can be of the member's
choosing. This can include the Sith platforms of XWA, XVT or TIE, or any
sort of Krath writing event. I also would like to include Star Wars
Galactic Battlegrounds, for those of you who might have the strategy
game. I suppose I also would stand for Jedi Knight I combat, because I do
not want to leave out our Obelisk warriors. In fact I likely would be
easy pickings for this because I get motion sickness from
first-person-shooter games -- aak. Obelisks, I'd rather take you on in
one of the X-wing games or SWGB, but like I said, it will be your choice.
Just e-mail the PCON at [Log in to view e-mail addresses] to issue your challenge.

This is it! This is my first report as QUA of Cestus. I know Ziguarath did his reports on an other day, but with the agreement of the CLan Summit I would like to issue my reports on Saturday. So without further delay let´s get started with it:
Activity:
It seems to me activity is quite low currently, probably due to the beginning of school and the starting of the new semesters at the universities. I understand that, so I´m not angry at you and won´t start shouting yet :P .Another reason for the lack of activity maybe the great shuffling of positions in the house and everyone has to adjust to his new job and gave less impulses to the house than usual. Therefore I think there will be some increase in activity in the next time.
Another issue concerning activity is the problem with the timezones. That influences especially participation in JKII trainings matches and competition matches and that is one of the most important parts of Obelisk activity. Therefore I started to think about a possibility to make JKII single player comps. With Zetar´s help I will be perhaps able to develop a method to add this new kind of comp to the katalog of other already existing comps. The advantage of such a comp is that the participants don´t depend on another player and so they can make their submission when they have time for it.
I will sent out another mail soon concerning this matter, so be prepared.
Competitions:
Currently there are no competions going on in Cestus something I haven´t experienced in months. I guess it´s due to the huge restructuring of house Cestus and the stepping down of DGM Astatine but I will change that asap. Zetar, the SGTs and me are already cooking up some new comps so expect to get flooded soon

This is three members less than we had in Ziguaraths last report. The people eho left us are: OBM Ziguarath because of his appointment as CoG, NOV Bane and NOV Obscurus Manica because they said they didn´t like it in Cestus anymore. I´m sad to hear that. I hope we can prevent losses because of such reasons in the future. But when the rumors are true we will be soon have at least 1 new member. Let´s wait and see.
Elevations and Appointments:
Since the last report of Ziguarath a lot of has happend concerning this matter. It will get a little bit lengthy I suppose but I want to announce all changes and every success here because every one is worth to be mentioned. Let´s start with the appointments: I hate to mention me first but I want to start from the top. After Ziguarath was appointed CoG the Clan Summit appointed me as QUA and elevated to the rank of Obelisk Warrior. They also appointed Talon Zetar as my AED and elevated him to the rank of Dark Jedi Knight. One of my first decisions as QUA was to appoint GRD Obscurus aka Maximus as the new SGT of Battleteam Armoured Fist. A little bit earlier JH Sukuth was appointed as the first SGT of the new Battleteam Blades of Malice. Therefore we needed a new Rolemaster and the choice of the house summit fell on JH Zekk, who is now our new RM.
But not only a lot of appointments had been made but also a lot of elevations. First of all I want to congratulate Glorfindel for becoming a Dark Jedi Knight. Another big congratulation goes out to Ereinion Qel Droma for advancing from the rank of Novice not only to the rank of Acolyte but even to the rank of Protector. Well done! But the elevation of Sen Hart from Novice to Acolyte is recognizable as well. I think I have mentioned all elevations and appointments, if I have forgotten anyone please have mercy with your old Quaestor.

have been no special merit awards handed out since Ziguaraths last report at least that I know of. But there have been some competition awards been earned. Let´s see if this changed until next week.
