Announcements from the Office of Consul Zorrixor

A fairly good week in all, though this upcoming week looks to be worse off...I'm back to school on Thursday, so my time will be short for a few days this and next week as I adjust to the work again...so forgive me if i'm not around as much as I have been in the last few days.

Appointment of a new Primus Goluud Aedile

My congratulations go to Raistlin who's been selected to take up the reigns of AED again, Raist was Bob's first Aedile, and now is his Aedile again. He helped get the Hosue off its feet when Bob first took over after its effective inactivity for a year or so, so hopefully him and Bob can push it further again now.

Appointment of Sapphire Commander

I'd also like to extend my congratulations to Crix Madine, the new Commander of Sapphire. I daresay most of you know Crix, so I hope you'll all make him feel at home in his new Clan and squadron.

Taldryan-Alvaak Feud - Tron's got to work on talking to some people to get a plotline worked out, we've also now gotten the Consul of Taldryan, Tiger, involved with the unfortunate resignation of Proconsul Predator of Taldryan, so there may be somewhat of a delay, but nothing major.

Activity Systems Review - I've got this underway, I'm looking into various ways of improving it, we will have our Master-Student Program up and running soon, before the Feud is a definate fact. The real wait will be on the website which is really the crucial part of it, as there are a lot of facts to get across and emails never a good way of doing it...

Clan Image/System/Stuff...

I've written up a detailed description of our palace, temples, citadels, etc. etc. etc., namely everything we 'own' in Phare, adding a lot to increase our fictional profile, when the website is up it'll all be put onto it. Hopefully with more of a real image for ourselves it'll attract more people to the Clan, but...you'll have to wait for the actual facts :) Theres a nice lot of ego-boosting material in it, so i'm sure it'll fit in nicely, but saddly...theres no brewery, which i know'll disappoint many :P

On this note, I'm happy, willing, and strongly would like to recieve any suggestions for Clan facilities located in the Phare system. I've already given us a lot of standard things, but if you've got any ideas for fictional installations that would be quite unique please send them to me, I'm flat out of ideas myself but would like to see some more buildings under our control. Bare in mind though, we can't have anything in space, as the Fleet Order of Battle documents all platforms and things, so the only things we can add without needing any major approval will be temples and things like that...

The observant among you will notice I've added Arion to the Black Guard, giving him his standard title as Lord Proconsul. It would usually be standard for the Proconsul to be the Primus, and that has actually caused confusion in my own mind, so I'm seperating the two a bit, to make things more clear, and to reflect the fact that the Proconsul is ALWAYS a member of the Guard in the same sense the Consul always is the patron of the Guard.

House News Foreword

The AWOL check is underway, so hopefully in a fortnight we'll have a nice lot of active members again, as you'll all also notice I've attached some strings to the check too. I'm aware this is in a way bureaucracy, red-tape and excess protocols...but saddly at times its the only thing that will work. I do plan to implement a continual AWOLing system when the Activity Systems Review is finished, though for now the short-term check is there to reflect that AWOL checks will soon not exist, but rather we'll just be maintaining something similar to Activity Tracking Records (like in the TC), through the points/activity system and in turn have those that do nothing in a month sent to the Rogues on a monthly basis....basically it'll just be a complex spreadsheet that makes keeping track of these things easy, and if somebody ever chooses to, something that can be coded up to a nice website or program-type thing...but, I digress too much....

Thats it for another week, this weekend if i have any free time I'll get the Activity Systems Review finished, then that gives me next to see that this Feud planning gets finished so we can get it started.
