I hope you all are doing well and had a great week.

In my report last week, I made mention that we had some more fiction updates to get out to catch the clan up. This one represents Dec's top 3 credit earned, hence a little holiday poetry. With no further ado, update 5 is below.

Update 5: Course Unknown

Zsoldos

The Yuanming Resort

43 ABY

The rain came sideways across the island of Du Kang, ruining the typical tropical atmosphere of the island resort. For today, at least, the beaches had been cleared by black ocean waves that clawed at the sand banks below Yuanming. Lightning split the horizon, briefly illuminating the structure that dominated the island; two towers of steel & glass with a veneer of volcanic rock everywhere possible, casting a silent authority over the resort.

To the people of Zsoldos, Yuanming was just a hotel & spa.

However, for the guns for hire, mouthy mercenaries, rough pirates, and rebels with or without a cause - it was a sanctuary.

• Scene One: Yuanming is back to operations, but there’s an unsavoury bunch there. Haro, with support from Hector, clear up the lobby and get the resort back to business.
• Scene Two: Lontra & Kindle debate what to do about maintaining presence in clan possessions, Raistlin and Raiju are sent to establish control in Ebon Ridge. Lontra shares he has plans for the whole system
• Scene Three: Kora returns from Probowl and wants to give news of Vhett’s offer to Lontra. But folks are away at the Drinking Hall for the holidays, Jabis is the one man army protecting the Blackspire from anyone entering - even Kora. Lontra returns and brings Kora to his office, finds out about Vhett’s offer. Tater arrives with an opportunity of sorts, he’s found a fabled forge. Will this solve Vizsla’s problems?
