I hope you all are doing well and had a great week.

Once again, it was awesome to see so many of you out for Gorefest this past weekend. I’m proud that we had 4 members earn placements. Keep up the great work!

As a reminder, in my report earlier this month, I made mention that we would be adopting the narrative system voted on in the clan survey:

• Each Fiction update will be told from the POV of the top 3 credit earners from the previous month
• Side characters or character mentions will be conducted on a rotating basis so everyone can see their characters (who have character sheets!) within the clan fiction
• Optional: If you have a character image, I’m happy to include these for POVs

Update 3: Salt In The Wound

Zsoldos - Vizsla Territory

Blackspire Tower

Few could say that they’ve had the pleasure of attending the Vizsla Consul’s Office.

Located at the summit of Blackspire Tower, little business made it past all the established gatekeepers below. Not even the general turbolift had access to this level, only through an alternative lift from the tower’s war room could one enter. Or so it seemed to Malodin’Tater while the Chiss was escorted here.

When the pair made it through the office doors, Malodin’Tater immediately noticed the blend of stark utility and symbolic grandeur that was the Consul’ office. What first stuck out to the Chiss was the floor to ceiling panoramic window that overlooked the planet’s tumultuous landscape. In front of this window, a single command chair of Beskar sat behind a desk embedded with tactical displays. Sitting several metres back from this desk, turned towards the command chair, stood two plain wooden and leather seats for guests.

Or in this case, interviewees.

Malodin’Tater moved in stride with his escort, up to where he chose to sit in full view of the command chair. Instead of joining in the other chair, his escort proceeded past the seat and instead propped himself up on the front corner of the desk. Folding his arms across his chest, the man let out a deep sigh.

“Thanks again for coming in so quickly, Tater.” Lontra Boglach continued. “Despite the shuffle, Dracaryis wanted to debrief you personally.”

Scene One (POV: Tater):

• Tater has made it back from his mission, asked to debrief with Dracaryis
• Tater reveals that there is a new spymaster in the Fero Council, this person is currently aligned with Vhett against Talrin but relationship is straining. No background or name available.
• Darcaryis is angry we have no further leads on the codex.
• Lontra is new Consul

Scene Two (POV: Azler):

• Kindle has moved into the PCON office
• Intelligence gathering has become a primary focus of the office, the Black Ledger has been established as Vizsla’s intel operation
• Jim Nova arrives, informed about the Vizsla-only operations available through the Black Ledger network

Scene Three (POV: Kora):

• Kora arrives at Wayland for the Pro Bowl event
• Kora encounters a very tall mercenary named Siorc(Korvyn), who offers to help Kora on her Black Ledger op
• The pair seek a Mandalorian woman who was reported to be discussing the Ba'slanar Codex

As you can see, over the next several weeks we will bring the narrative up to date. December will see a brief pause to the campaign as we bring back a holiday event while the new year will see us return to stride as we plan to launch Great Hunt X during Q1 of 2026.

Current Operations:

• Vizsla November Bounty Board - The monthly bounty board open club-wide for higher crescent, more credits, and more XP.
• Clan Archives - As you may have recognized in today’s fiction update, the Clan Archives series will be renamed to the Black Ledger when it comes back in January. These events are Vizsla-only and have a direct impact on the clan’s worldbuilding.Take advantage of the initial offering in this container, available until Nov 30th.

In Closing

Earlier today, after some muddling around, I was able to set up our new announcement channel and a second gaming voice channel. This is directly related to the growing involvement of you all.
