[GJW XVII - Animus] Competition Notification - Multiprompt: Impact of War

Purpose of Announcement:

Questions regarding Multiprompt: Impact of War and the expectations of submissions were brought up this morning. Now that I am home, I am making a formal announcement regarding these expectations and clarifications, so as not to favor one body of members over another.

Notification, Source, and Examples:

Impact of War, as explained on the tin, is intended to be a timestamped transcription of what was heard on a recovered holo from one of three events during the Cor'nerian invasion; As it is the captured speech and sounds from a holorecording, it would not include the characters' internal monologues or narration of events, unless the cameraman was a battlefield journalist or correspondent and vocally narrating events.

For those of you unfamiliar with Transcribing, I am including this Guide to Transcribing from Mount Saint Vincent University, as well as a link to further examples from the Transcription Pending competition which inspired me to run this competition for GJW XVII.

I do apologize if, at first blush, there was any confusion or apprehension about how to complete this competition. I hope this answers any remaining questions, and I look forward to your submissions.
