Hello again, my lovelies! As I announced in my previous post, we're currently running an open beta for a new design of the member home page. If you haven't already seen it, buy a ticket and have a look.

I asked for feedback in the comments of that post, and you've all delivered. We're taking that feedback into account and looking at what changes we can make to improve the new site. Not all of the changes will make it into the final design, whether due to available coder hours or conflicts with our goals for the new page, but we're including as much of it as we can.

The biggest change we plan to bring in is to make it less wall-of-texty, by adding things I've been told are known as "graphics". Vyr has already given us options for how we can spruce the page up to keep it visually distinct without being too busy, and we'll be experimenting with those over the next few weeks.
