Of Gorefest, Galactic Defender, and Commander
First, just over an hour ago Gorefest began running. If you haven't already gotten out there and started submitting Gaming Activities to this you should start!
Next, Star Wars Galactic Defenses newest event started this afternoon. Pirate Trouble is an Arena based event with the Event Reward of General Kenobi (obviously light side). Light Side Special Champion is Ahsoka and Dark Side Special Champion is Hondo. Its worth noting that Ahsoka is a Durasteeel Pod champion who only costs 10k for a chance to recruit and she's 5 times more powerful during this event. Hondo, on the other hand, is a Carbonite Pod champion and costs a few gems. Clearly we're in a Light Side favoring round. Expect a competition similar to previous ones launching soon.
Finally, Star Wars Commander has opened up the ability to construct Level 9 Headquarters (and everything else that comes with it). Once your Base is Level 9 you'll be able to build additional Shield Generators, Vaults, Turrets and a Sonic Cannon. No Event showing up for Commander right now, but I'll be watching to see if one appears.

Gah, sorry. Did not realize how that could have been read, I'll update the title to avoid crushing peoples hopes.
It's probably just me, lol.
"Once your base is level 9"? Surely you mean "If it ever gets that far" gettign 2,000,000 of any ressource in that game is a pain unless you pay for protection :P
