Good evening all you fine folks of our most awesome House Shar Dakhan! I hope everyone else has been enjoying their summer thus far. I know I have. There are a few little things we have to hit on as we head into the end of the month. Sorry for the delay. With a nasty combination of vacation and some PC issues (which I believe I have gotten sorta figured out- might need some new hardware) this report is a little delayed. It doth not matter. Onward to glory!

For those folks who are not aware, we are heading into a Feud on (according to our resident former Jedi) coming VERY soon. So hike up your knickers and get ready to have a blast. Our competition this time around will be Clan Scholae Palatinae. I have no worries as I have seen Clan Naga Sadow kick rear end in the past and I have no doubts we can do it again! The Clan Summit are keeping things very hush-hush as to the exact nature of the events but I fully expect it will be an absolute blast.

"Naga Sadow, it's up to you, let's show them all what we can do! V-I-C-T-O-R-Y! That's the Sadowan Battle Cry!"

Oh, before I forget, I want to take a moment to congratulate some of our Dakhani. With the changing of the guard as Marcus stepped down from Rollmaster, we got our resident backstabber back (to stab us in the back again?). He didn't walk away from the position empty handed however, as he was recently promoted to Savant. He wasn't the only one to get a promotion as our Quaestor also joined the 2nd Equites!

Competitions

As if there weren't enough things to do during the summer, there are of course a nice little range of things going on for our members to enjoy. June's Gorefest is happening this weekend, so go out there and rack up some Clusters of Fire and Clusters of Earth! The Mad Alchemist and our own Janos Braker are running a character-related comp for you all to explain a bit on how to better write your character, Mactire is running a summer-themed art competition and the Markosian Aedile is running an art competition of gender-bending variety. There is always of course the master list of competitions that can be found here if you can't get enough.

• In case you have been hiding in a cave, former Odan-Urr member Darius (also known as Cable) has taken over as Clan Rollmaster. Welcome again!

• The Herald is still holding applications for a short time for new Magistrates. I hope all interested parties have already lodged their applications as they close on the 19th!
• The Headmaster has released a report detailing some of the good things that have occurred and some things to come. Looks like things will be busy for both DB and myself.
