“More Crystals?”

Metal claws carefully slid across a screen, spinning a rough three dimensional model of a series of tunnels marked in red.The twisted mass of tubes and caverns ended abruptly, whatever scans that had provided them were interrupted before they could be completed. The biome was deep, the only route down an inorganic drill pattern that broke through into one of the larger tunnels.

“What’s special about these ones?” the voice came from behind Doon, peeking around his arm at the display in front of him. Doon had asked Zig to assist him, as the Shistavanen was not as familiar with the capabilities of the Voidbreaker II as she. Her eyes were focused on a side screen, showing a molecular mapping of a crystal lattice.

“According to Tali, some of our researchers got excited when the samples came back.” His gruff answer came as he flicked to another screen, showing a badly focused image from inside of one of the tunnels. “They could be some rare type of structure, the type that we use in turbo lasers or heavy shield generators. In theory, if there’s a bunch of these crystals down there, Arcona could produce our own heavy arms, and more easily repair our shields.”

A few more flicks and the images began to clear.

Voidbreakers! The event - The Mines of Riquis is LIVE. Be sure to also keep an eye out for the RP that I will be launching. I hope to get everyone in who is interested and move things along in time for the start of the second phase.

Everyone give a big congratulations to Sofila, who is the Newest Aedile of House Qel-Droma! Wish them luck with their new duties, even though I know they'll excel.
