Introduction and Aedile Applications

Welcome to the second edition of the Clan Plagueis PCON report! (And it's on time, too! :P) Monty is offline for a few days while he enjoys the luxurious Spa Afghan. In the meantime, Brimstone is still not in charge of the Clan.

The most important news item right now: we're still accepting applications for House Ajunta Pall Aedile until this Saturday, March 29. Follow the link for a brief explanation of what we're looking for in a candidate and send your applications to Monty, me, Aabs, and HAP's Brain-sucker-in-Chief, Teylas.

We have several excellent candidates, but more is always better! Make this a hard choice for us :P

Fading Light

The first round of Fading Light has concluded and we're awaiting scores. Our teams did a great job getting everyone to meet the posting requirements, and they crafted some excellent stories -- check them out when you get a chance (links below). I want to especially thank the team members who helped organize and motivate their compatriots: well done!

Fading Light Part Deux

The next round of Fading Light will be coming up some time in April, probably. It's going to feature the brand-spankin'-new ACC, so go get qualified by completing the two courses in the Shadow Academy's Combat Writing Department. ACC Fundamentals is a breeze, and ACC Qualification is a great exercise to introduce you to the concepts if you're unfamiliar.

I know that the ACC isn't everyone's favorite thing, but we have these shiny new character sheets and fun ways to beat each other up with flashlight swords and ominous brooding. It's a totally unique feature of the Brotherhood, and it's been revamped from the ground up. I think it's worth trying. Plus, everyone who participates will boost our performance as a unit. A number of Plagueians have qualified for the ACC in the past few days, including yours truly.

So as our fearless leader always says: DO WORK SON, for fun and profit!

Conclusion

First, I want to address my near-total absence from IRC over the past few weeks. For nearly a year I've lived with an internet connection that drops out if I sneeze or look at it funny. Lately, my connection has decided that it's over IRC, done, kaput. The good news is that I'm moving in two weeks and should have a normal, working, non-judgmental internet connection from then on.

Of course, as I mentioned earlier, Monty is currently out making the world a safer place for Star Wars nerds like you and I. That means there may be a period of a few days when we're both effectively out of contact. Thank god for Aabs! He'll be steering the Good Ship Plagueis, and he's an excellent helmsman.
