Combat Master Report #4: Loadouts for the ACC Championship

A Quick Update:

As a reminder, signups are open for the ACC Championship Tournaments. You can find the container competition here. Signing up is as easy as picking the tournament you wish to participate in (be sure to read the restrictions for the Beginners/Intermediate Tournament) and subscribing to the child competition for that tournament.

There was a bit of confusion on the restrictions, so let me try to clear that up. In order to enter the Beginners/Intermediate Tournament you must have 10 or fewer ACC wins AND 15 or fewer Completed ACC matches. I am not counting timeouts against your record, so, read my previous report and the comp details themselves. This will tell you where to find your ACC statistics, and then sign up for the one that best represents your experience in the ACC. I have been delighted to see that so far all entries to the Beginners/Intermediate Tournament meet the requirements. Well done!

Loadouts:

Regardless of whether you will be using your main character or an alternative character, it is important that you ensure that the loadout you want to use with your character is listed as your Primary loadout as pictured below.

Note the highlighted section in the image that says (Primary). Whichever loadout for your character is listed as the Primary loadout will be the one that is automatically assigned for the battles, so, make sure you have the one you want in the first positition. You can do so by going to Administration > Character Slots and NPCs > Click the Manage dropdown for the character you will be using and select the Loadouts and Snapshots option. When that page opens, find the loadout you want and click the left arrow on it until it is the first one listed and it says (Primary) next to it.

Also, as a reminder, if you will be using an Alternative Character rather than your Main Character, it needs to be in your 2nd character slot and you need to notify me that you intend to use an Alternative Character either via email or Discord message.

Speaking of Alternative Characters:

As of right now, I have received word from the following people that they would like to use an Alternative Character for the tournament. If your name is not on this list, you haven't contacted me to let me know you want to use an alt. If you wish to use an alt, please notify me prior to the start of the tournament on August 29th.

Conclusion:

Signups will remain open until site turnover to 8/29/2026. At that point, you will no longer be able to sign up for the tournament. Make sure you subscribe to one of the two competitions before then if you want to participate, and please keep in mind everything discussed in this report, my previous report, and the competitions. Turnout is looking good! We already have enough people in the Beginners/Intermediate for a full bracket, and we're getting close to reaching that point for the Masters tournament as well.

I will make another news post when there are 24 hours left on sign ups or sooner if anything else needs to be discussed. As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me via email or Discord message.
