The above is the working title for a new Vizsla-hosted event that will be coming at the end of May. The plan is for this to be an annual event for 2 weeks on or around Memorial Day here in the States. We will be hosting several competitions, a social RP event held in the Zsoldos system, and a surprise that Juda, Kanal, Shimrah, and I have been working on for the last couple of months.

Because of the upcoming May 4th events, we will start the Kote Ky’ram event on May 26th and it will run through June 10th. Not only do we want this event to be a good spot for XP, Credits, and Crescents but for enjoying the event together as a brotherhood. So participate in the social events if you can. Join the Roleplaying sessions, even if it is for short sentences. There will be ample opportunity to have fun together regardless of what clan you are in. We look forward to hosting the event and having as many people as can participate.

The events are still being added and worked out but look for something new and different that we have been working on for a couple of months that will be unveiled. Super Secret Perry The Platypus type stuff.

These are given out once a year so they are kind of a big deal. I don’t take awarding them lightly and put a lot of thought into them. In general, I try to give one to a Summit member and one to a non-Summit member. This year Juda and myself have awarded them to Shimrah and Haro.

Shimrah has been a beacon of activity in clan Vizsla and a driving force in what we as a summit have been accomplishing. His outreach to new members, world-building, and general participation are top-notch.

Haro is one of our most active members as well. Running competitions and participating like crazy. He became our first Journeyman 4 in ages and has already moved on to the Equite ranks.

I want to congratulate both of them on the award and thank them for their continued efforts to make Clan Vizsla the best it can be.

I haven’t done one of these in a bit and felt it was time to do another. Recently Appius and his family suffered a tragedy beyond words. I absolutely couldn’t be prouder of this club in how we set aside any differences we might have and came together to do all we can to support and uplift him. It was nothing short of amazing. Appius is one of the best of us. I have never heard a bad word about him and he was always one of the first to reach out and help people that needed it. For me personally, it has been an honor to watch, and hopefully help, as we all did what we could to, if nothing else, give him one less thing to worry about.
