Introduction - Happy New Year

Welcome to my first formal Aedile report and I hope everyone’s holidays were great! I also want to wish you and your families a Happy and Healthy New Year!

December was not it’s normal quiet wind down type of month at least not for the Clan’s Gamers on the GMRG leaderboard. In the final week alone 10+ hour gaming sessions a night were not uncommon as members from all over the DJB tried to get on, move up or just hold on to their current spots on the leaderboard. In the end a total of 3 representatives were from COU your P-CON Turel Sorenn, Daniel Stephens and Yours Truly.

This was one of the most competitive quarters the leaderboard as seen in a long time with about 50,000 points being earned by the top 9 GMRG gamers. If you want to know how to get on the leaderboard let me know we can always use more COU Gamers! I would love to see more COU Members take part in the leaderboard insanity.

Finally I need to thank Selika Roh di Plagia of the herald staff for creating my Aedile Report Graphics.

The Future of Hoth

2016 is shaping up to be a very exciting year both within House Hoth and with the Clan as a whole. All the new leaders that were installed in the last 2 months are already working on story lines, comps and a little thing called a Feud.

As for details on the Feud with Clan Plagueis are still being work out but this is definitely set for to run for the month of February. So keep an eye out for Report and email announcements on this. They will be coming in the next few weeks. Also we will be running many practice comps and events this month to help prepare us all.

As I promised in my first report I have already sent individual emails to all Hoth members but haven’t received many responses please get those back to me so Nathan and I can create exciting and fun events/comps for you all to enjoy. If you haven’t received my email please let me know because I do want to hear from everyone!

Also there are many Clan/House Projects that are currently available and some more in the planning stages. We most definitely need work done on the House and Clans’ Wiki pages, so if you have wiki experience or just want to find a way to be active and take on any of the Clan projects contact me ASAP!

The Life Day Games 2015 - The Final Week of Comps is upon us and all comps will end on Jan 11th!

Gorefest: Jan 2016 - Best way to jumpstart your way to the next GMRG Rank! Runs Jan 22 to 24. ALL GMRG members get Double clusters - to join the GMRG you need to pass this course GMRG History before the comp ends.

In conclusion

House Hoth has a lot of potential to do well in the upcoming feud and I’d like to see us lead the way for the clan. To win the feud and any future GJW’s will take teamwork and communication so I hope that we all can support one another and help our clan win!

To that end if anyone wants to play any game for clusters and is looking for a partner let me know I am always willing to help someone out when they want to earn some clusters and if you want help to make your writing skills better let me know I can team you with someone that can mentor you in the ways of Fiction.

Also even if you’re not big on fiction comps (like me) we have some excellent DJB Wide and Clan comps are extremely fun that I urge you to try. Just trying one extra comp that you normally wouldn’t do is a great way to grow in the club and help your House win big events.
