House Event Inbound!Results

Hoth:The Price of Freedom has been completed and as much as Celevon and I wanted the fiction to be done for this report, other factors are forcing the release of this report sooner than we had liked. I’ll go into those reasons in a bit. Firstly, I want to thank every member who competed in the event we had some great entries and I’ll be honest the Fiction competition was almost a dead even contest between the #1 and 2 slots. Everyone should read the fictions cause they are that good!

So without further delay, I present to you the Winners of the latest Hoth Event:

• in 1st Place with 69 points was Luna Okami, Congratulations!
• in 2nd place with 48 points was Liam Torun-Urr
• In 3rd Place with 41 points was Ozosi Vym.

I also want to give a BIG shout out to our two new members who took part in their first event both Tony Whispers and Bon Riverio put in some effort to support House Hoth and I thank you!

Omega Protocol Activated (see the fiction for the source)

After almost 15 months as your Quaestor and a total of 28 months on Hoth’s Summit, I have decided to officially step down as Quaestor of House Hoth. This decision has been in the works for a while and following Turel’s lead about not over staying in a position when we have members more able and willing to move up, I felt this was the best time for me to step aside and let Celevon Edraven Erinos finally sit in the big chair.

So, effective soon after this report goes live (or whenever the MAA office approves the transfer), Celevon will be the 5th Quaestor of this glorious house. To answer the most obvious question ,we received 2 awesome applications for the BTL position that Celevon and I were blessed with being able to hire Ozosi Vym as the new Wildcard BTL and we were able to offer the Aedile spot to Sariel Dhejeuti who is already working with Celevon, awaiting his appointment to be the 5th Aedile of House Hoth. So please congratulate the new leaders of Hoth and please give them the same amount of headaches you all gave me. :)

Before I sign off for the last time, I do want to say a few things. I’ll start by saying that I have the utmost confidence in Celevon, Sariel and Kris to run Hoth even better than I ever could. I will remain in the House and maybe even go the Wildcards if the BTL accepts my application to join. I am looking forward to the new and exciting stuff this last event puts the House on the path to. Seeing how stacked the Summit is with so many creative people, I’m sure we will have a awesome run during their tenure.

It’s also has been an honor to be a part of the last 2 years of Hoth History and I’m so proud of the new home we all built and are continuing to build, not only for the House but for the entire Clan to enjoy. Solyiat was born from the minds of the members of the House and you all deserve the credit for creating such a wonderful world for us to call home.

Over the last two years, I have seen and dealt with many wonderful members and many of you, I am happy to be able to call my friend. As a House, we have accomplished so much and I’m so proud of all the effort you all have put into the House and the Clan. Being able to lead you all to a Great Jedi War victory was an honor and a memory I will always cherish.

I will not pontificate about myself much here since it’s only you the members, fellow summit members and history will judge if I was a worthy leader of this great house or not. I will only say this, Thank You for letting me lead you these past 15 months. It’s been a honor and a privilege to serve all of you. I have done all I can to fight for you and make sure you are always recognized for all the hard work and dedication you given House Hoth.

I also want to Thank Nathan, Alora and Turel for believing in me enough to give me my first real shot at DB Leadership. I also want to thank Celevon, Jack, Tisto, Torin, Sera Keiji and Kris for joining my summit and helping to make Hoth one of the best Houses in the DJB!

Finally, I want to extend my deepest thanks to Arch and Blade for allowing me to run one last event and accepting my recommendation of Celevon to replace me as Quaestor. As much as I have fought with all the COU Cons and PCons, I really do support them and appreciate all you do for the Clan as a whole.
