I swore I would never drink again. However my current, and longstanding apprentice, loves to peer pressure me into drinking more. So that being said, this report is late because of him….and the evil things mentioned above. I swear I will never drink again, until we get together and again and get blasted playing Star Wars Miniatures again.
So another month, another report. It's been a pretty damned good month for us. We’ve seen the end of the first ever Odan Urr Clan Feud with Arcona. If you're like me, you got to team up with some old friends, and even got to make some new ones. Even for a bunch of slightly Dark Grey Jedi (or slightly Grey Dark Jedi). That Arcona bunch seems like a pretty good group of folks.
I think Im going to keep this one here. If you can be active, and especially during Feuds/Vendettas/GJW’s, go and do everything you can. If you think you stink at graphics, go find a sketch head like Vyr and talk to him (her?) about how to improve yourself. Then go out and do a graphics comp. Same with gaming and fiction. Im always up for helping at gaming, and I love talking to people about fiction. Im horrible at writing but Ive got an excellent imagination and I'm willing to help give some ideas.
Point being, go do all the things. Its what makes this little internet group fun. Its also what gets you promotions and awards.
Speaking of promotions and awards. If you're ever curious as to what you need to do to get promoted or a merit award, just ask your Summit. Sometimes people do well but are flying under our radar and aren't noticed. Its not a slight against anyone, but we are humans who are dealing with RL as well as managing a 20-30 person roster (60+ for CON/PCON). I personally try and stay on top of these things, but sometimes you can slip through the cracks. Again, if your Jedi Knight plus and have been so for a few months, shoot me an email. Ill let you know what you need to do, because I love promoting people to EQ1 and beyond more than anything else!
Looks like our Headmaster has been at it again. New Astronomy courses to be released soon. Also many of us have had our Shadow Academy Society ranks increased. If you were one of those who was, check and see if you've got a nifty holocron to add to your profile!

The FIST has recently announced the addition to the Cluster Menu. Namely the Cluster of Earth. This has been retroactively awarded for those who were previously awarded Clusters of Fire for PvE gaming submissions. Now if only we could get the Cluster of Ice renamed to Water, and have a Cluster of Air. We could all be Benders, and the top earner could be the Avatar! :D
The O’reen attack on New Tython has ended thanks to the help of Arcona. Right now the Clan Summits are meeting to find out who took the most damage in the fight and who successfully lead their teams to victory in their objectives (OOC: Results are coming soon-ish.)
Solari has stepped down as House Satele Shan’s Quaestor. However in his place Mar Sul has been elevated with Seridan taking the position of Aedile, and the former Hoth-ite, Gresee taking over DoB. It hits me hard in the feels seeing these younger members stepping up and into command. This has been whats made the past 14 years of this group great for me, seeing new people do great things.
We have recently started a channel on the mobile chat platform Telegram. It does require your phone number but only to verify you. Otherwise it only shows your username and we only require said username to add you to the group. Its a great way to chit chat with people outside of IRC and away from your PC. Email any of the Clan or your House Summit to be added!
“Ask the ProConsul” has been added to Vyr’s reports. Send him an email or message him with a question you may want asked.
Also, there has been talk of Alora, Mar Sul and possibly myself and others having a sort of gaming night one night. During this we will play the game live on a streaming service where people can chime in and ask us questions. These can range from basic questions about the DJB, or even about future plans for the Houses or Odan Urr. More information to follow on this!
Prepare yourselves for Round 2 of the Butcher of Kamuikiko. No set date yet as we want people to rest up after Tides. It will be soon though, so get yourselves prepared!
On the last report I stated that we would be seeking a new Knight-Commander for the Knights of Allusis Battleteam. After an application period and review Revak and myself have chosen Liam Torun as the new Knight-Commander. Liam had a very well thought out application and detailed plan on how he wants to reform the Knights. He will soon be sending out an email detailing his expectations for prospective members of the BT as well as his ideas for fictional development.
As always I am seeking members Jedi Knight and above to mentor our new members. This is a position I take seriously as you are responsible for the lifeblood of the DJB. As Ive said before, you could have the next Grand Master in training. If you are interested send me an email. As an added note to this, if you're seeking a promotion, this is an awesome way for us to pad that recommendation to the MAA staff!

I'm leaving this the same as last month as well. As before I said it is a great time to be a Star Wars fan. If you're doubting that, you've been living under a rock, somewhere outside of range of radio communications for several months. Episode 7 in Dec, multitudes of books between now and then, a new season of Rebels, Battlefront in November, and a Mobile game in Sept(?).
That being said, get your geek on. Go talk to friends, or some family members about our little niche of the internet. You never know they may have interest, if not you've done nothing but spent time talking about something you love and enjoy doing. Ill tell you right now, in 30 years of life I've found there is no time wasted if you've spent it doing what you enjoy.
So go out, go get your geek on, and if you've never been to one, go find a Convention itll be the best money you've ever spent!
