The Left Wing of Dread Sends

November has arrived! We are just a little over one month away from the biggest Star Wars in a long time. The Force Awakens hits theaters roughly six weeks from now. Are you buying opening night tickets? Are you going to brave the lines and cold and all that to see the movie the second it drops? Or will you be like your Quaestor, who will watch it in the comfort of a relatively empty sunday morning matinee? That’s right, I like to watch movies with the AARP members. They are quiet and they don’t know how to use cell phones, thus no texting during the movie.

And of course, it’s gaming madness this month. Fallout 4 will hit shelves tomorrow. Some of you have been kind enough to post pictures (between pictures of food, puppies, and other nonsense) of the game pre-downloading onto your respective consoles via telegram. Others, like me, eagerly await the envelope from Amazon. I, Dracaryis promise to not vanish off the face of the earth when this game drops. If not for you, then because: BATTLEFRONT comes out less than a week later! That’s right, it’s time to jump back into the Star Wars universe via console or PC (the official Battlefront platform of the DJB) and have epic battles involving blasters, lightsabers, walkers, and starfighters. With this one, I do not promise to not vanish off the face of the earth. I even put in a request for vacation just so I can play this one uninterrupted.

So there we go. Six weeks away from Episode VII. Fallout. Battlefront.

Nerdgasm.

We are now three rounds deep into the Forged Alliances event. Kelly and Taranae are killing it, with submissions to all events up to this point. There’s still plenty of opportunity out there for some sweet dossier bling. Find an event, and go do some work! Links to the Round 4 Events are below:

Final Words

We’re in the home stretch to Episode VII. I think we can anticipate a lot of interesting stuff coming down the pipe. Membership will likely increase. I need you all to keep the activity level up so that when the newest members of the brotherhood find themselves within the ranks of House Ajunta Pall, they know that this is the place to be in the DJB. Welcome them with open arms. Teach them how to get the most out of this awesome community.

Finally, the holiday season is right around the corner. Be safe. Don’t spend all of your grocery money on booze and non-essentials. Stay off the roads if you spent your holiday at Ma-Maw’s face-first in a bottle of hooch.
