Hello again, House Hoth! As promised in my earlier report this month, I mentioned a secondary report with a few important updates and improvements to the yearly Lord Protector House competition.

Without further ado, here are the following updates made:

• I’m excited to announce a new, second prize for the overall winner of Lord Protector, that I hope will carry over into future Lord Protector competitions! In addition to being granted the overall fictional title of the yearly Lord Protector for House Hoth, your character will be granted the key to a luxurious guest house! Your character will get to maintain residency within the house for a year until the next Lord Protector is announced. The house itself also comes equipped with staff, such as maid service and personal chefs.

• Your character will get to leave their own permanent mark on the house by either: leaving behind an item, adding on a room or space such as an art studio or greenhouse, or something else that you come up with. Please note that any items (or staff members) are not to leave the house itself unless they are owned items reflected in your personal loadout. However, this house will provide a secondary location for you to host/run RP’s, should you choose to! More details on this house (including a name), and a wiki page to reflect it, can be expected sometime by January.

• The final end date to earn points towards 2025 Lord Protector is now December 31st, 2025. The winner for the title of 2025 Lord Protector will be announced in January, to allow a full calendar year in 2026 for earning points.

• Similar to this report, the 2025 Lord Protector will be announced via a secondary report. This is to better showcase the work you’ve all put in, as well as to include a fiction for the overall winner.

• Be on the lookout within House Hoth activities or comps that award bonus points towards Lord Protector between now and the end of December! This information, including the total amount of bonus points awarded per person, will be included within the details for both RP’s and competitions.
