Three hundred-fifty meters from the large carrier, a shuttle approached and transmitted authorization codes. Permission to land was returned in silence, allowing the shuttle to drift further and eventually pass through the field protecting the inner ship from the vacuum of space. The entire process took only a mere few minutes and the shuttle touched down towards the rear of hangar four. The pilot powered the engines down, signalled his passengers and dropped the ramp to give his cargo a safe path to the deck of the ship. Various crewman spilled out of the passenger bay, apparently already knowing their intended duties, but one woman stood apart from the rest.
She was the last to exit the ship, but the first to survey the entirety of the hangar before moving further into the cruiser: as if she was evaluating the procedures of shuttle docking. With her solemn scowl never leaving her face, the woman brushed a blonde bang from her face and located the hangar control room, immediately making her way towards it. The occasional pilot and basic crewman brushed passed her, not giving a second glance as she reached and entered the control room wordlessly.
“Oh, can I help you, Miss…?” One of the more senior looking crewman stated after noticing her.
Taking slight breath, she cleared her throat. “Could you please direct me to the commanding officer of the ship?”
“I...well...Can I ask what your intentions are, miss?”
“All you need to know, is that I need to speak with your commanding officer and the senior Hoth representative on board. Anything else is need to know, which you do not,” she stated cooly.
This brought a frown to the man’s face and he waved to a few passing security crewmen. “I’m sorry, miss, but unless you state your intentions and give me some identification, I’m going to have to restrain you.”
With narrowed eyes and a slight twitch of her mouth that could almost be considered a form of smirk, she rose a hand with her finger extended. “Excellent response. I am Arcia Cortel, sent by Councillor Sorenn to act as military advisor to the Hoth Joint Task Force. If you would like to verify these statements, I have proof. Now then, please direct me to the ship’s commanding officer and the senior ranking member of Hoth.”

Greetings, House Hoth.
Welcome to the first report of the new world! (Literally!) This report will be a joint effort by Edgar and myself due to the crunch time put in effect by the creation of the planet and fleet. We hope that you enjoyed the fiction that we worked on together and please thank Edgar and Tisto for assisting me in the write up of the planet portion. They’ve done their best and put their all into the proposal, but don’t hesitate to offer your thoughts on anything and everything!

There is so much that we have planned both fictionally and out of character, but without you, the members, we cannot move forward. Now then, you may see a lack of House specific competitions this past month, but don’t fret. Here soon enough you will have ample opportunity to compete with your fellow House members to help name and detail the rest of the planet aside from any immediate changes we discover are needed via the feedback form. So thank you for your patience!

Ladies and Gentlemen of House Hoth here is some news from your Aedile,
There is quite a bit of things to discuss since the last report in April. Since Arcia, Tisto and I have been hard at work on the Fleet/Planet proposal. So there really hasn’t been a good time for a report till now. So let’s get the old news out of the way.
The most obivous bit of news is that Colonel Arcia Cortel was named our newest Quaestor. I can honestly say since the moment he was tapped as our new leader the House Summit finally became a unified unit with a single goal of making House Hoth a living breathing unit that is not only fun but is also created by and for the members of this House. I’m very eager and excited to see where we all go from here!
As I mentioned the biggest bit of news is the we have been working on Hoth’s new Fleet and Planet proposal for the past few weeks and it’s been a journey of many long nights of discussions, revisions and scientific research to make sure what we were putting on our world made sense and had a basis in reality. So we hope you like the proposal and we are waiting for your feedback as well So get to it Hoth!
I do want to also quickly mention the Feud and even though we didn’t win I was extremely proud of the effort you all put in. We came away a stronger unit than going in and I hope to see that continue to grow as we move into the Kiast System.

Something that the Hoth Summit has decided to do is each month, we will be selecting one or two members to spotlight. These members have accomplished feats that set them apart from the rest of their peers, causing them to be deserving of a special light. So congratulations!
The first member Arcia and I would like to single out is Darro Zhen he has been a powerhouse of activity in the house for quite some time earning a Grand Cross, Multiply crescents and submitting a planet idea that turned into our Island chain. Darro is a great member to have and a great gaming partner as well. Thank you for being a beacon of activity that inspires even me to do more!
Secondly we’d like to mention Ryan Nealer our newest Knight and since his return to the House and been burning up the fiction competitions and earning 10 clusters of Ice and a few Crescents to boot!. This is a great job and we look forward to see what great things you do next!

Gorefest June 2016 - All GMRG members earn double Clusters of Fire during this event (June 17 to June 19). If you’re not a GMRG member then all you have to is pass the GMRG History Course.
Competition: Clan Plagues and Clan Odan-Urr: Double Cluster Day! - Earn Double Clusters od fire for playing against Plagues for on June 4th
Competition: Faces that are so cold - THIS IS A DISCIPLE OF BAAS competition so anyone outside of the target unit can’t win crescent but if you want to submit a ficiton for Clusters of Ice you feel free. So go support DoB and earn clusters for your efforts.
To wrap this up, we will be giving the House one (1) week to offer feedback regarding the Planet/Fleet proposal. If it seems like we require more feedback, we may extend the timeline, but try and get us your thoughts ASAP!
Moving forward into the coming months, I will be working with the Hoth Summit (including KoA BTL) to make sure we have enough events to keep you all satisfied, but I will also be working with the Satele QUA/Summit to devise a joint event that will be made available for you all to compete in. Stay tuned for that!
