An unstoppable hurricane in body and mind Kell Dante, a Legacy of Palpatine and Field Marshal, stormed through the hallway on Ohmen directly from his shuttle. Donned in his polished and painted battle armour and armed with his lightsaber, his DL-44’s and his AXM-50, the Quaestor meant business. He slid his hand across the door ahead and it swiftly opened into the main War Council boardroom. Kell marched his way over to the main hologram and his fingers were a blur across the control panel. He strung up recordings of the zombies, many pictures of them devouring innocent people and variations of the larger and smaller fungal undead. The War Council, along with Lexiconus Qor, watched in silence as the lights dimmed.

“These are the enemies we are dealing with and this is what they are capable of. Gnawing at our flesh, marching further onwards despite being shot at and outnumbering us at a large rate. Their bites could be considered infectious, they have human-like strength and are intuitive. If you haven’t yet figured it out, this is a serious problem that we have been addressing heavily. Through orbital strikes, deployment of troops and extra help from our Sith and Jedi forces, we are gaining an upper hand on the situation.” Dante then removed the zombies recordings and added the only precious images of the titans from Antenora, Judecca, Ptolomea and Caina.

“Up until now. When we got about 5 seconds of video from our trooper’s helmets. These are the monstrosities that greeted our forces and crushed them instantly. They are ancient beasts designed to kill humanoids, so we need to be on top of our game and alert at all times. I don’t need to repeat myself in terms of what these titanic beasts can do. At over one hundred stories or more, heavy artillery and assistance from the fleet is a necessity.” The Quaestor then walked forward towards the council and addressed them personally.

“This isn’t something we can overcome in a night, and it is an entirely new threat. Our forces will be heavily crushed if we don’t think outside the box and keep a ranged defensive tactic. We have forces working their hardest to stop the source but they cannot do it alone.” The Adept pressed a button on his wrist and a hologram shone out of an ISD ship, primed and ready for attack.

Introductions

Hello House Imperium and welcome to a another report hosted by your Quarren-Sith Aedile! There is a lot of information to cover so I apologise wholeheartedly for the length of this report. We have tears to shed, excitement to bask in and a whole lot of information and updates from our superior leaders in the Dark Council. This time of year will most likely be a slower and more relaxed season, because we are in the holidays of gifting and sharing, but i’m sure we will be as active as ever. So let’s start!

Shadow Guard

Shadow Guard has been designed to be a protective unit for House Imperium Leadership, it is also used in battle as a Stealth Infiltration Unit. When the house is under attack Shadow Guard strikes quickly from the shadow's and then just as fast retreats to them if there is sufficient force to take out. In times of war Shadow Guard was created to be used as deep infiltrators. They are tasked with sneaking over enemy lines to try and take out the enemy leadership.

Delak is the BTL for this team, as Chrome has stepped back and slightly to the left as Sergeant, if you wish to join this team, I will leave their emails below.

There’s not much going on in terms of House efforts, we’ve had some members unfortunately leave us to the darkness of the Rogues. We’ve also had the extreme honour of seeing Sim Vel’Potens through knighthood! Please take your time to read through this fiction as I believe it’s quite interesting. A Lambda-class shuttle descended on bay 67-810. Its loading ramp lowered with a volley of steam. A band of hooded men descended from the ship. In their faces, the fatigue from the recent campaign could be seen.

“It seems this isn’t over yet, Sim,” said Ulfsark to his apprentice.

“Bring them on! I’m ready!” exclaimed the young Hunter with enthusiasm.

A transport took them from the spaceport to the Imperial Palace. They saw all the Palatinaeans walking swiftly to the turbolifts. Those that saw the pair saluted them as they walked together through the hallways.

The whole clan was summoned to the giant meeting chamber beneath the palace, under orders to receiving briefings about the upcoming mission to stop Emperor Vanis.

“We failed in killing the head of the Pacre Datship," said the Emperor, “This must be corrected at once. Search teams will be deployed across the system. The madman must be stopped as soon as possible. If he is able to complete his ritual, the damage would be irrevocable."

He paused for a moment before continuing.

“Before you leave, we must recognize those who have demonstrated courage and leadership among the troops and fellow clansmen”

As the Emperor spoke all the Clan members solemnly hooded up and formed a circle around the consul.

“Step forward and kneel Hunter Vel’Potens," he commanded. Sim initially shocked, timidly started moving towards the center of the circle formed by his comrades. As the Hunter dropped his left knee on the cold palace floor. The Emperor ignited his lightsaber, and gently moved it from one shoulder to another saying, “Arise, Knight Sim Vel’Potens of Clan Scholae Palatinae”.

He held out a hand, lightsaber hilt resting in his open palm for Sim to take. Sim did so, and his clanmates erupted into cheer.

Also, i’d like to take a moment to speak with you about a very important member who is highly respected and with a rich history here. As Landon said in his very emotional report, He lost his close brother Jacob Van Nowak to an unfortunate accident. Without knowing Jacob personally, I still feel a grieving sense of absence from this House. The hardest part of being in this position, is to understand what a member has done for us, how they impacted us and whether we have the ability to help the members in need of support. However with this case I cannot support Jacob but we can give our hearts out to Cruise.

Whether he is reading this report or not, I want to let our Rollmaster know that whatever he is going through, we are still here. We will always be a strong shoulder for him, an open ear for his troubles and a place to stay if he just wants to step away from those childhood memories. My door will always be open for you, man. Your brother may be gone in body, but he will always be next to you in spirit.

Clan Scholae Palatinae

Monstrosities have erupted across the Cocytus System in various forms from fungal humanoids cursed to roam the earth, eternally hungry for cannibalistic feasts while letting out haunting groans from their rotting lungs and addicted to the perilous chase against their prey. There’s also a pack of steel-eyed, intuitive beasts ravenous for the human flesh, yet also in constant starvation that patrols the jungles of Ptolomea. Slimy and bulging with guts and sand, the Sandworm on Antenora slithers through the sands of the planet with thousands of limbs while it’s mouth of countless teeth stinks of rot and demands another fill. The frozen wastes of Caina will never be safe again as a Colossus broke through the toughest icebergs in order to raise our formidable bases to the ground, bellowing out a powerful roar at our defeat in mere seconds. Finally the bane of all fleets and soldiers who explore the vast unknowns, a beast from unfathomable depths holding countless limbs that can sweep our strongest fortresses from their foundations, the kraken holds an infamous shriek that can sweep the strongest warriors into mindless monkeys. The Cocytus system will never be safe again.

Brotherhood News

Outside the Clan, Plagueis is advertising the chance to be their Quaestor of Karness Muur, which was extended from the 12th to the 19th of this month. As well as being a fundamental leader of the House, your main tasks will be to communicate with the members of your house in efforts to keep them motivated, being active with them, and email everyone you are responsible for. You will be tasked to create and write a house report for your members, in their desired time frame. Also it is good practice that you consult your members and summit before making decisions, as well as answer any questions they ask. Remember you need to be a minimum of JM3 which is Hunter or Padawan, under 24 hours of email turnaround time (meaning you should respond and communicate via email within a day). Prior leadership, social media access and basic familiarity with the DB activities is a preferred requisite but not needed as other ideas and projects written could make your application sparkle. Inside the SA, Landon has stepped down from his duties as the Docent of the Leadership Competitions course, he did a great job and i’m sure we can all thank him for his duties when he returns to activity. In other news concerning the SA, a new course has been created so familiarise yourself with the Fist-o-matic used in the gaming IRC channel, #dbgaming. A big thank you to Ernor who created the course for us!

The MAA staff and the GM has looked through the statistics of when members begin to become comfortable in their ranks and settle down per say. Some of you may not be familiar with this, with a perfect graph with the right amount of data (members) in the desired quantity (rank) should be high in that required place, whether that place is JM4 or EL1. They found out their bell shape left them with the majority of members stuck in EQ2 and this wasn’t acceptable, for a strong brotherhood of powerful members. So in retaliation the MAA have lowered the time spent in Equite ranks. You can find the hard facts, in Aab’s report.

Also Wally, our Combat Master, published a supremely long report that entails all the decisions and alterations the staff made for the benefit of us. In a TL;DR he dropped the lightsaber form prerequisite to JM4, described the differences between Barrier (against physical attacks) and Deflection (against Force and energy based attacks), as well as some details about the ACC, ACB, a new H2H Guide and special feats that needed clarification. Incase you haven’t seen yet, there’s also a championship for ACC combatants who can earn some shinies and bragging rights! You can find the book here!

And finally, our herald has created a competition that illustrates the necessity for weapons, robes and accessory designs. In a very basic lesson in art and design, he asks subscribers to design their own that could appear in the movies. The competition is linked here!

Imperialist Plans

As you well know, Dante and I are working to make sure this new House is built properly, strongly and also by your standards. This is a huge project with many aspects to cover from History, interaction with other houses and clans, the finer details of our own vendettas and wars, the description of our headquarters, it’s leadership and really anything else you could think of. This sounds like a wall of text, and in the beginning it most likely will. But with your help and in groups we can build this wiki into something that will catch the eye of others, and become a great example to read. So I am asking for your hand.

If you have some ideas that can be included into the House’s history, a niche that could be unique to our persona, or a piece of history you wish to write that can fictionally sum up how the foundations of House Imperium were placed, we would love to see these ideas in the flesh. You can email Dante, myself and Delak about these ideas and if you have an excerpt of what you would like to place in, this will be an excellent option as well. I’ve always held an open mind to reading other’s fictions as we all have our own structure and rituals, so it will be no different here. Some good examples to write are:

• Sub-units of troopers and heavies.

• Insignias or blurbs for strike teams.

• A barracks with a mission statement and training scheme.

• A spaceport or dock to get off the isle of Dleacht.

• A solid description for House Imperium Base, if there’s any specialised rooms etc.

• A main base for Shadow Guard and their training grounds.

Star War News!

Another new trailer came out in Japan on the 6th November and it reveals a bit more about BB-8, how finn got his blue lightsaber, how to use that new lightsaber from Kylo Ren with the quillons and who actually leads the fighter squadron for the Resistance led by General Leia! Also some of you may have noticed my little excitement upon watching Children in Need. A familiar ewok escorted the oldest droids known to man across the most powerful corridors in British media in search of the secret Star Wars super fan! I may be spoiling it for you, but the mechanics behind the control of Poe Dameron’s best friend was amazingly satisfiying.You can find the whole stunt here!

Final Thoughts

Now that I have a better grasp on what my duties are in terms of being your Aedile and servant, I can wholeheartedly say I am deeply enjoying my experience in this clan. The competitions and vibe for this clan-wide event is amazing to feel, I certainly feel honoured to be around for this because I love the theme and emotion behind it. You should know I will always try my hardest to compete with you guys, as the prizes are what keep me going.

Dante is still away due to computer and technical difficulties, you know this guy still likes to hang around on Telegram whenever he’s free, so have no fear. Delak is busy creating his own wiki for Shadow Guard and is always floating around the different Telegram communities (Art, DB, Gaming etc.) so if you need an invite to one of these, just ask us.
