So this week I'm taking a break. Long story short: I'll be back on Summit duty as of the posting time of next week's report. I will be using this time productively, probably finishing competition entries and/or painting a whole lot of stuff. Or, far more likely, playing a bucketload of Saint's Row the Third. You can still send emails and things and CC me as necessary to things but I reserve the right to not answer.

However, onto the good bit! This week sees Salas joining us as recruited by Yuriko and the return of Novice diskius to House Marka Ragnos - welcome to the family, you guys, I hope you both enjoy your stay!

This week's trivia results: Malik in first, Locke in second. Well, they were both Consuls - but some of the other entries were really close too, so congratulations to everyone who submitted.

There will be no trivia this week. One part due to my break, one part due to some techiical issues I'm having with the competition shell. I will resolve them next week and trivia can get back on track.

This is one of the most busy weeks we've had for a while and I am super glad to see all these competition entries being put in - and the awards being handed out. Awesome work, House. Keep up this momentum!

This week has seen an insane amount of reports put out. Most importantly: Check out Teu's report on the House mailer! Also, we have a Suggestion Box, a project request form and a HMR survey - please fill out all three.

• Deputy Grand Master Raken's put out a report explaining a little about our fleet purchases and some award/title changes - read Raken's report here.
• There's been a pile of ACC and Voice updates this week, so here's the summary: Syntari's been named Magistrate to the Voice, an ACC tournament has opened and closed within the span of a week. Awesome stuff. Sometimes with the DJB it really is 'blink and you'll miss it'.
• Headmaster Solari did some things - some changes to awards, some questions answered, and the usual list of courses. Check out Solari's report.
  
• For those of you interested in leadership, House Tarentum has a position as Battleteam Leader open. If you'd like to apply, please read Raiju's announcement.
• Do you play Pazaak? Do you like playing games? Have your say on some Pazaak Rites of Combat changes and some new gaming platforms for the DJB. Check out the FIST report.
• This week also sees a Tribune: Recruitment report and a Tribune: Forum report, too.

In Closing

This week, I'd like you guys to get in touch with your Battleteam Leaders. Let them know what kind of comps they should be running - I fully expect to see one competition per team per month, with participation. Please work with your teams, and most importantly, have fun with the DJB.

I think a lot of us have lost sight of that.

Remember, you did join the club to be here, so please, for the love of all things good, be here and do things, but also have fun. Competitions are awesome. Do some. I'm about to. I did one last night. I feel better for it. Maybe you will too.
