“Hit me.”
The Zabrak General stared intensely into the eyes of his Human Commander. Through her blue-black hair, her violet eyes met his, with the same intensity.
“25,” she announced triumphantly as she pulled the mound of credits closer to her. “Pazaak has never been your game, Revak.”
Revak grinned, “not against you it hasn’t Yuki.”
The sound of static filled the General’s office as a fuzzy image appeared on the holoterminal. The image could barely be made out but it appeared to be a Gand.
“... General... attack… Fort Tanisad... Gand tried to defend… QN now control...”
Revak looked sternly at Yuki as the smile from her winnings quickly faded. She immediately jumped out of her seat.
“We need to mobilize. Kaltani thought she had all this time, but clearly not.” Yuki clicked on her com and tuned it to the ship-wide channel, “Attention Sunrider. There have been reports of QN aggression towards the Vatali. We need all stations manned. Transports and Drop companies, mobilize and await further orders. Tython Squadron, prepare your ships. We need a full fighter escort to the Palace.”
Revak began gathering his things, “Kaltani can’t pretend the QN aren't a threat to them anymore. In the meantime, I’ll put the planet side Sentinels on alert. If anything happens, we’ll know about it. Preventing the loss of more lives is our main concern.”
The time has come. The Quorahi Nation has grown in numbers and has taken their first military action against the Vatali. House Sunrider had sworn to aid the Vatali in exchange for accepting us into their society after we were left without a home after the fall of New Tython. We must do what we can to protect them, prevent more loss of life on both sides and to bring an end to this conflict. We are getting a steady stream of intelligence reports from our Jedi Sentinels in SeNet who are planet-side. Though things are calm for the moment, more attacks are imminent. We must stay alert.
With that being said, over the course of this month, be on the lookout for competitions following the VU storyline. As events unfold, you will be called into duty. The future of Kiast is in your hands.
The big event has come and is expected to launch with the September House report. This will serve as the climax for our House arc and the events that unfold will determine the future course of House Sunrider. Looking to wrap this arc up by the end of the year, so if you haven't gotten a chance to put your mark on House canon, now is the time to do so. If you’ve been keeping up with all the chatter in our socials, good on you because I can barely keep up on all the awards we’ve been handing out. You’ve all done such a great job this year with being active, doing projects and fighting hard in the GJW that it makes us proud when our fingers bleed trying to acknowledge you all for your efforts. I’m excited to announce the return on the Odan-Urr Comedy Series. These are fun, easy competitions that are meant to be lighthearted and give you a break from the standard story based competitions.
Beginning August 31st, you will have the opportunity to caption a new Star Wars image every week. They will run from Monday to Sunday and are slotted for 16 weeks, so plenty of chances to get shinies.

For those of you who have no idea what I’m talking about...
Have you ever read any House fiction but have no idea where the place is in relation to anything else?
That’s where you come in.
You have just been recruited by the Sunrider KDI. Your mission is to learn more about the planet and its inhabitants by interacting with them. Walk through their streets. Talk to their vendors. Taste their foods. Then, report your findings so that we have a clearer picture of the people we live among. Sound diplomatic relations can only be achieved through the understanding of different cultures.
This series will utilize written and graphic arts that will allow you to take your character and do something a little different. There are no pirates, no fetch quests, nothing but good old storytelling. You’ll be writing your character interacting with the people, places and things within a different region. Completely open world writing confined by only minor details that I'll provide in the competition details. Only thing that I ask is that your description of the sights, sounds and smells be as detailed as possible. Entries will be used to fill in those damn lore gaps and become official House canon.
There will be a new location to explore every week… that I start a new location. Stay tuned!

Due to what I can only equate to some sort of magic, Rollmaster Gui has been drawing in more and more new members. Such a large influx of people requires a massive effort on our part to train and retain them all so they can fully experience everything this community has to offer. I’m asking that anyone with the time, energy and devotion required; reach out and talk to some of our newer members..
If you're new, this is a great way to learn the ropes as someone takes you around and shows you the ins and outs on your way to Knight. Not only that, but your Master could be your first real friend in the club, often meeting up with you to do some writing, gaming or drawing.
Even better yet, it's TOTALLY FREE!
Now for those of you who wish to be Masters or have been in the past, you know how important being a good Master is for keeping good people in the club (we all have had or have known of Masters who went to get cigarettes and haven't returned). You also know that our club relies heavily on activity, talent and the longevity of its members. Studies show that when a student is guided, they perform better later in life, live longer and go on to become great Masters themselves.

Our weekly gaming hangouts have returned in full force! Jump on the Odan-Urr Discord, we would love to lead a game or just chat. Whether it's playing a few rounds of Cards Against Humanity, exploring space during our role-play sessions or games like Destiny 2 and SWTOR, it's a great time to meet your fellow Odanites.
Now if you're an introvert like me and are thinking "But Revak, there are people there" you have nothing to worry about. Everyone is pretty chill and things never get too crazy. Even if you don't want to play anything, just get on and talk with your fellow nerds.
