Introduction

Greetings and joyous times everyone!

As we approach standard-years end I want to thank everyone for their hard work and dedication to our little corner of the internet. It’s been a wonderful year full of laughs, fun, games, prizes, comradery and so much more. Thank you all for everything.

Now onto the report…

Recap

Pilfering Pirates have descended and caused enough chaos. As Martial law continues, Sunrider has begun to fight back against the culprits of the recent trouble brewing in Tythas city. With their capture, things may soon return to normal and the Martial Law may be lifted. Help clear out this menacing plague, and perhaps discover who is the cause of the past horrors and bring them to justice. But is this pirate menace all there is or is this cover for a darker entity at work…

Fiction

Governers Office, Tythas City

Asani stared for a moment longer at the digital silhouettes that had vanished, a grim expression on her face as she donned her helmet. The High Councilor was dead. It was a shock to the young woman, he seemed like a capable man, somewhat of a mystery. Almost like he would outlive her and everyone she knew, he had an air about him from the limited knowledge she had of him. Now he was a memory, joining the ranks of ghosts. But she had no time to think, her reinforcements would arrive and with that back up, her mission would be that much easier to complete. She began preparations, assembling her team, verifying that she had all of her weapons and gear available.

Finding a den of pirates was the easy task, wrangling them up was the hard part. And finding out who funded the chaos that they were a small part of harder still. But the effort was worth it. With The Third Regiment Marines as back up, they began their assault on the pirates den. It was an easy find for the lagomorph considering most of the arduous work had been done thanks to the collective work of the members of House Sunrider.

The Pirates Den

The assault began as Asani charged in, the doors to the hideout blasted open by the will she placed upon them. Chaos ensued, from surprised pirates to screaming prisoners hiding, some of the pirates returned fire, others tried to escape. Crates scattered about creating the perfect cover, but not very long as The Marines charged in, taking down everyone they could find, prisoners were moved away from the battle. In the chaos, shipments tumbled revealing precious jewels or weapons. More evidence of the pirates having been used as proxy.

After the assault many were taken into custody, yet all Asani could focus on was if her other goal had been completed…

At the other side of Tythas, the hidden dens of the city were also being stripped of the pirate menace as various teams charged in, catching unsavory patrons and pirates as well.

In the noble district, a special force managed to take down the benefactor that had eluded justice for far too long. Now finally Martial Law could be lifted and the citizens would once again be safe.

Overall the mission was a success.

For now, with the mission successful and the menace dissipated, Asani could focus on assisting the new High Councilor with whatever she might need.

There is a pressing matter I must announce, our Aedile and Battle Team Leader are retiring from their positions. We wish them both the very best as they have been an invaluable part of our team and have done magnificent work for the clan. #Closing Thoughts

With twelve days left, decorations hung and festivities abound we look to the future, to improvements, to more friends and more fun! I’m grateful to be a part of this Clan and this little corner of the net. Thank you all.
