Veiled Origins Placements

Veiled Origins, the House Shar Dakhan Event which ran for the first 2 months of this year has just been scored. The run-on placements are awaiting word counts, but 1st goes to Locke Sonjie, 2nd goes to Erik Cato and 3rd goes to Macron Goura. Congratulations and thank you to everyone for writing such an excellent run-on. It's clear you all put a lot of effort into it and it was a joy to read.

In terms of final placements for the event, 1st goes to Morax Darkblade, 2nd goes to Jurdan Krennel and 3rd goes to Erik Cato. Congratulations and well done! Darkblade came in a bit late to the event, but dominated in the second phase, showing that old and crotchety doesn't mean you can't place.

Total placements (# of 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th):

  • Morax Darkblade (4,2,3,0) - 28 points

  • Jurdan Krennel (4,2,1,0) - 24 points

  • Erik Cato (2,4,0,2) - 22 points

  • Evelynn Wyrm (0,2,1,0) - 8 points

  • Drae'lath Rahath (1,0,1,1) - 7 points (and a special congratulations for attaining Knighthood during the event)

  • Macron Goura Sadow (1,0,1,0) - 6 points

  • Locke Sonjie (1,0,0,1) - 5 points

  • Malik Sadow (0,1,0,0) - 3 points

  • Bentre Stahoes (what you are you doing here...) - for the event which Bentre won 1st and Jurdan won 2nd, I awarded 1st place points to Jurdan. This would not have changed final placements.

One last time, congrats to all!

Farewell

As previously discussed with Sang and Bentre, I will be retiring from my post as Quaestor and stepping down and out to the Rogues for the foreseeable future. A few of you know the reason, but I will not hide behind the guise of saying "this is for RL reasons." In the words of Franklin D. Roosevelt, "If you treat people right they will treat you right... ninety percent of the time."

Applications for the post will be open soon, keep an eye out for word from the Summit.

Good bye and good luck,

Aul Celsus
Quaestor, House Shar Dakhan

Hate to see the reasons for your departure. Hope to see you back soon, Aul. Job well done.
