Goodday Sadowans, The Sadow Broadcasting Network wanted to get out a New Years update for the Clan as we head into 2026 with the same tenacity as always. We wanted to celebrate a bit for a Clan accolade that is pretty prestigious. Hold on to your comic books true believers, we will get into all of that here in just a minute!

We say goodbye to 2025 and welcome in 2026. I wanted to coincide this update with the tally’s of our prestigious accolade, not only the December Blackguard selectees, but also the annual Blackguard title. At the start of Jan ‘25 we had 30 members excluding myself and Lord Keibatsu chasing the title. Then with the appointment of our new Magistrate Master Bentre Stahoes we had 27 members eligible for the title.
Totals are based off of members' monthly XP, tracked, then totaled for the end of the year. Tasha Vel’Versea has held that title for two consecutive years now and we could not be more proud of her and that accomplishment. This year's totals stayed pretty tight and there were some impressive numbers put up the last quarter of ‘25. So we wanted to take a moment and congratulate not only the December Blackguard, but also a new bearer of the Dark Sword of H’Kysch! So without further adieu here are your winners of our Blackguard titles!

Blackguard is a long tradition within CNS. Blackguard title holders protect the the Clan not just Clan Summit and the annual title holder gets to carry the Dark Sword of H’Kysch that is up for grabs and tallied every January to one lucky Sadowan. So if you would like to have that beautiful weapon attached to your hip, then get to work racking up that XP! December is your last chance to add to your overall annual points and move yourself closer to snagging the Blackguard of the Year title. Gaming takes place mostly on the weekends if you need to get some in, hit up your fellow Sadowans on Discord! There are also a couple of us available throughout the day so if weekends are a bust, put a shoutout on Discord and let's do some gaming. That is one way.
As a reminder, this is not based on gaming alone, this is based on the total XP you earn each month. So whether you game, do fiction, art or puzzles that XP adds up and banks to your dossier. This also includes your RP sessions, medals, promos, Shadow Academy totals. So as stated before, the more you do, the more you earn. And that fellow Sadowans adds up and you can be the next Blackguard of the Clan.

Here are our Blackguard winners for Dec and for 2025:

Sadow Temple
The Sadow Temple lay hushed beneath the slow churn of distant storms, its obsidian walls bearing witness as preparations unfolded for the coming investigation of the original Sadow Temple on Yavin IV. Within the Consul’s office, DarkHawk stood with Lord Keibatsu and Master Bentre Stahoes over a glowing holomap, lines of light tracing routes, contingencies, and fallback positions. Every decision was deliberate, every possibility weighed.
Plans were refined, redundancies layered atop one another, when the soft whirr of servos announced an interruption. A protocol droid entered, extending a data disk with ritual precision. The three Summiters paused, the map dimming as the disk was slotted into the terminal. Silence followed as the information scrolled across the display, measured, ominous. When it ended, DarkHawk gave a single nod. Without hesitation, he ordered an ALCON-encrypted message broadcast across the Clan: All hands were to rendezvous at the Temple of Blood at zero hundred hours.
Temple of Blood
The Temple of Blood rose like a scar against the horizon, its courtyard dominated by the towering statue of Karness Muur. Seventeen meters of stone and malice cast a long shadow over the assembled Sadowans as they gathered in disciplined silence. The air felt heavy, expectant. From above, the Summiters descended the worn steps, their presence commanding stillness. DarkHawk stepped forward, his voice carrying with controlled authority. He spoke of tradition, of a charge reserved only for the most proven of Naga Sadow. The Blackguard were not personal sentinels nor symbols of vanity; they were the shield of the Clan itself. Chosen in secrecy through honor, skill, and unwavering loyalty, they stood as guardians of all Sadowans. As he spoke of the Dark Sword of H’kysch, an obsidian relic born from the volcanic depths of K’hamar’a. Every gaze fixed upon Summit, the weight of history pressing down upon the courtyard.
When DarkHawk named Adept Tasha Vel’Versea, Adept Ashia Kegan Keibatsu, and Creon Neverse, the three stepped forward as one and knelt before the Summit. The moment was solemn, binding. They were proclaimed Blackguard, their names etched into the Clan’s lineage, their service acknowledged as a debt the Clan itself now bore. Each Summiter stepped forward in turn, affixing the sigil of the Blackguard to their chests, a mark of trust that would never be taken lightly.
Then the Consul’s voice rose once more, calling forth the candidates for the Dark Sword. Master Stahoes, Tasha and Hades. Bentre knelt beside his bride, and Warlord Hades joined them, the courtyard utterly still as the past and future converged. Tasha surrendered the blade she had borne with distinction, bowing as the torch passed on. A protocol droid came forward carrying a branding electrode and unsleeved the Warlord’s robe. When Hades was branded with the mark of the Blackguard, the electrode’s hiss echoed like a vow etched into flesh and soul alike.
DarkHawk raised the Dark Sword of H’kysch high, obsidian catching the low light, before placing it into Hades’ hands. The charge was absolute: the blade would never touch the ground, never leave its bearer, and only death would release him from its duty. Stepping back, the Consul ignited his saber, crimson light washing over the courtyard as he lifted it skyward. “To the Blackguard,” he proclaimed. In unison, sabers flared to life across the Temple of Blood, a chorus of colored fire answering the call. Beneath the shadow of Karness Muur, the Blackguard stood renewed, silent, unyielding, and sworn.
