Guess Who's Back!

I don't normally start off a report with a musical interlude, but in this rare case I'm going to make an exception because it's just so perfect. Guess Who's Back in Karness Muur! It's really great to be back in the house I helped create so many moons ago. I could spend eternity musing on the past, but that is not my style. I'm here to help drive Karness Muur into the future and I definitely see a bright one ahead.

Things, You Want to do Them!

I wanted to take a few moments to talk about a few competitions that are running now and a major one coming up. For those who haven't seen the separate report , our friendly neighborhood Wiki Tribune/ Proconsul pursuing what might be called a great Undertaking. This is a series of events centered on the wiki and related topics. While I recommend this event to all, newer members will especially benefit from a couple of the events. There's also a big team event among them, so if you're looking for a team, let either Abadeer or myself know. In addition to this event, there are a couple events being run by our fellow Muurians. Abadeer has both a fiction and a trivia event going on. Also, Tharess has a fiction event starting later this week. So go out and get those Clusters of Ice and Inquisitorious points.

I should also point out that in the very near future, we're going to have another inter-clan event with our friends over in Tarentum. I'm going to leave it to Teylas and Selika to talk more about that, but there's going to be a lot of fun to be had and things to be done when that comes around. That event will also be following up on the latest DJB fiction updates, so stay tuned for a lot more intrigue!

Bring a Friend

Something we've been talking a lot about among the Summit is the need to recruit. As you might have noticed, we as a Clan are not doing so hot when it comes to the number of members we have. We're exploring a number of avenues to get more folks to come to our lovely little corner of the internet, but we really need your help. The most effective way to get new members that we've found is to go talk to people we know and convince them to give us a look. That's how I was recruited (thanks Slags!) as well as a number of others. I'm assuming most of you have some friends that are into Star Wars, so there's a built in audience there. So go on, chat em up, give them the link, and you never know what could happen.

Closing Thoughts and Moment of Zen

Actually, I don't really have much more to say here other than to stay classy as always. Well, I'm going to share one more thing about myself as part of my MoZ. Some of those who know me know about my penchant for the unconventional when it comes to my characters. However, my interest in the odd started a lot younger than that. See, back in grade school we had to do reports on animals (I presume everyone else did too at some point). The normal kids picked lions, tigers, bears, and of course wolves. I couldn't do that. I had to pick the most adorable yet still badass creature out there. The Platypus. What does that have to do with anything in the DB? I have no idea but this platypus video was freaking adorable!
