Greetings Odanites and welcome to my inaugural report as your Proconsul, usually I would have made an introductory report upon taking the position, however it seemed more efficient to put a short introduction to myself in the previous Consul report found here rather than flood you guys with two reports, especially when one would have simply been for the purpose of an introduction anyway. Right, lots of stuff going on at the moment as i’m sure you’re all aware, ranging from ACC Tournaments and Possessions Beta all the way to the last few days of our Odan-Urr Anniversary competitions. So let’s get into it.

Report Graphics

As you may have noticed already, my report lacks any graphics; Usually when a member takes a position they fill out a form for the Herald office who then make some graphics for them. However, our lovely Herald has informed me that I could get a member to make the graphics for me and in doing that they will be able to awarded Clusters of Graphite for their work. So consider this a call to arms for those of you who enjoy the graphical side of things, I will be looking to have someone create these report graphics. Naturally I can’t have everyone make some, so instead I will be looking for interested parties to either e-mail me or PM me on telegram and from there we can get started - first come first serve on this people, so let’s make something pretty!

Art Feature

I am still unsure if featuring art is something I will do in each of my reports let me know if it's something you'd like me to do. This piece was something I had to show everyone, it was commissioned by A’lora and created by Xelandra, a talented artist that A’lora rates very highly and has commissioned multiple times!

Councillor of Urr Nominations

It is that time of year when we celebrate the founding of Odan-Urr and as many of you surely know, during that time the titleholders of the Clan come together to vote on members of Odan-Urr that have been nominated by their fellow Clansmen to become the newest holders of the ‘Councillor of Urr’ title. As such we will be opening nominations for this honour the second this report goes live and the nomination period will run until Wednesday 23rd November, after which the current title holders will carefully consider each nominee. A form has been created and will be linked at the bottom of this section, the form requires you to fill out your own Dossier number and name before your nomination, there will also be an optional section for you to fill out if you wish giving reasons behind the member you’ve nominated.

I will directly quote the Councillors of Urr Wiki pages summary of what a Councillor of Urr in the hopes that it may assist you in deciding who to nominate, should you wish to find out exactly who already holds the title please follow the above link to the wiki page for a list:

“The Councillors of Urr are Clan Odan-Urr's governing body. They are all prominent members of the Clan whose influence has shaped and defined its very existence. These individuals hold great responsibility and great influence with the Clan, shaping its course and indeed its very future through their wisdom. They act as a permanent advisory body to the Consul and the Summit.”

Think about your nominations carefully as you will only be able to nominate one member and there is to be no self-nominating.

Wot I do

I wanted to make a (relatively) short section just to keep you guys in the loop with things that I am working on in the Clan so that you know what to look out for, what we’re looking at and to invoke any thoughts you may wish to raise with Summit members regarding these things - for the most part this section will be reserved for things that are merely in the ideas stage, anything already well into development will usually have some form of announcement focused on that event. Firstly, as you can see above I have prepared the Clan title nominations and have (hopefully) set that up to run smoothly, meaning that we should be able to announce our new titleholders as soon as possible after the nominating period ends, with that in mind we would hope that the announcement can be reported well before the end of the month, and for those of you who have aspirations to work toward becoming a recipient of a Clan title, look to go above and beyond and help the Clan in anyway you can!

In the non-title section, myself and our Rollmaster, Corvus Corax have been working together developing ideas for Kiast, mostly the planet and not as much the system. But at the moment our primary focus is on developing certain ‘areas’ of Kiast, including places for our more rugged Han Solo-esque characters to use in their fictions and to give their more opportunities and things to do in the system, gambling, drinking and all that stuff that space cowboys tend to do. Furthermore we are also looking into the Quorahi, a political faction who already have some ground laid out in the wiki page, as a major political faction of less fortunate sky nomads, they function as the working class of Kiast - we Summiteers feel that there's more to explore with the Quorahi and we hope to develop them further over the coming months. However it should be noted that these are very much in the rough ideas phase and are thing that I will be able to discuss in more detail at a later date!

Also, in my spare time I like to root out and dispatch the heretics known as the Inquisitorius.

• ACC Event ‘’Guests’ of the Matron’ LIVE! - If you enjoy ACC then this is definitely something to give consideration to - Mechanics and scoring are detailed in the linked post. Also included in the post is a link to sign up for more ACC matches in the event. This event takes place aboard the Godless Matron, the new base of the Herald of the Dark Brotherhood

• Wiki Report #16 - Wiki report featuring some extremely important information regarding possessions and how the wiki will work to come in line with the new Brotherhood feature. Also includes some great info regarding how Clan Possessions will appear on wiki pages now that the possessions system will track Clan assets.

• GMRG Changes - Drac outlines the changes to the GMRG, in which he also gives us the requirements to achieve the now permanent GMRG Ranks XI and XII respectively.

• Voice Report #2 - Wally hits us with some Species stats, outlines some of the projects he’s working on and reveals the updated Fiction Rubric, aptly named Fiction Rubric 2.0 and any fictions after this report (not including already running fiction comps) will be expected to use the updated rubric, so worth checking out!

• Herald Report #18 - V’yr hitting us with a cheeky fiction update before showing us new releases and giving us a really cool showcase for the Possessions Beta. Check it out!

• Appeals Panel Chosen - Congratulations to both Alaris Jinn and our very own Alethia Archenksova on their appointment to the appeals panel!

• Knights of Allusis BTL Applications Open - With Tisto stepping down, House Hoth are looking for members to apply to become the new BTL of the Knights of Allusis; working with OU summits has always been an enjoyable and rewarding experience for me and I can’t state enough how great an opportunity like this is for those of you who are interested in getting into Leadership, so go apply! Apps end on the 19th November.

Competitions

• Renewal of the Light - Clan Odan-Urr Anniversary Competitions, ending on the 21st. Go ahead and take part, as previous stated I will be posting in the Run-on portion soon(™) after this report comes out.

• Last Voyage of The Charon - Co-op fiction. You and your partner are in space, surrounded by Rakghouls, if that hasn’t sold it to you then I don’t know what will!

• ‘Guests’ of the Matron - ACC event taking place on the previously mentioned Godless Matron, take part and fight each other for the crews entertainment. Go get it!

• Going shopping! - Pick out some items that you’d like to buy, describe why your character wants the item. An excellent competition if you want to think about ways to develop your character via the new possessions system!

• They are coming for you - Fiction competition, You’re trapped on a planet for one month and enemy forces are after you, what happens?

• Monkey Poo - Roleplay as a Zoo monkey and fling feces at people you don’t like in this Flash game competition.

• COU Jigsaw Week - Xolarin - Puzzle competition, put the image of Xolarin together in the fastest time and win.

Usually something different

Normally I would have run a classic #AskThePCon in Telegram, however for this report I really didn’t want to detract too much from the Clan title nominations. It is quite an important deal and I would much prefer that everyone gets the chance to nominate a member that they feel is deserving of the award. As such, Instead of a Q&A section I have temporarily replaced it with a section explaining why I haven’t done one. I am sure that you all will get a modicum of enjoyment out of thinking up a question to ask me and then asking it to me on telegram anyway!

Hey guys, just to close I wanted to say that I’m super happy to be back in Odan-Urr and serving as your Proconsul and I look forward to what we do in the future, also everyone post in the Anniversary RO, I will be making my own post very soon(™).
