Consul Corner
Hello again, Arcona!
Yes, I’m back already. No, you cannot stop me.
I figured instead of waiting a full report cycle like a responsible adult, I would simply… not do that. Because things are already moving, and I want to keep that momentum going.
Also I had news. Good news. Very good news.
We have a Proconsul!
cue dramatic entrance music that I absolutely expect you all to imagine right now

Summit Update… New Proconsul
After reviewing applications, having some really great conversations, and doing a completely normal and not at all chaotic amount of thinking about it… I’m incredibly happy to announce that Tahiri is officially stepping into the role of Proconsul for Clan Arcona.
Now let’s be honest. Most of you already know her.
If you’ve ever:
- opened Discord
- looked at the Art and Fiction channels
- participated in literally anything
- or existed within a 10 mile radius of DB activity
…you’ve probably encountered Tahiri. And if you haven’t? Give it like 20 minutes.
Tahiri brings a lot with her into this role. She has extensive leadership experience across the Brotherhood, even if she hasn’t previously had the chance to move beyond Quaestor-level positions. And that’s something I very intentionally wanted to change. Because she deserves that opportunity.
Her application was strong, thoughtful, and clear… but more importantly, it matched what she already does every single day.
- She shows up.
- She engages.
- She supports people.
She is, without exaggeration, one of the biggest cheerleaders in the entire Brotherhood right now. Whether it’s welcoming new members, answering questions, jumping into games, diving into RP, working on wiki updates, or helping expand storylines… She is everywhere.
I don’t actually know how she does it.
I suspect cloning.
We’ll investigate later.
But what really stands out isn’t just how active she is, it’s how she shows up. She makes people feel included. Encouraged. Comfortable jumping in. And that is exactly the kind of energy we need as we continue rebuilding Arcona.
Also… and this is important:
She is genuinely one of the sweetest humans I have ever met.
Which means between the two of us, we now have:
- one chaos gremlin with scissors
- and one Nicest Sith™
Balance has been achieved.
I am incredibly excited to work alongside her, and even more excited to see what she does in this role.
Now I’ll let her introduce herself properly:
Proconsul Introduction – Tahiri
Hello everyone, I know most of y'all already know me, but for this I'm gonna reintroduce myself. I'm Tahiri Kahn Drakon Night-Thorn de Morte Tarentae, also known as the Nicest Sith and for my Tahiri Spam in the Art and Fiction chat. I'm very active in all of the different activities that the Brotherhood has; fiction, art, gaming, RPing, and generally helping with any questions people might have.
I'm super excited in becoming PCON, and being a part of Arcona's story. I can't wait to contribute to the plans that Nora has laid out, and beginning a new chapter in Tahiri's storyline and experiences. I want to thank Nora for this opportunity. I also wish to thank all of Plagueis for being my home for a little over the past 7 years. I love the DJB!

Where We Are At
This is the part where I don’t rewrite my entire last report (you’re welcome), but I do want to touch on where we are right now.
We are still very much in that rebuilding phase.
But- and this is important- it’s already starting to move. Activity is slowly picking up. People are participating. Conversations are happening more. You’re showing up, even in small ways, and that matters more than anything.
Because like I said before: activity becomes habit forming. And habits build momentum.
Now, with a almost full Summit again, we’re in a much better position to support that growth. More ideas, more support, more visibility, more ability to actually follow through on the things we want to build.
Which means you’re going to keep seeing:
- consistent competitions
- low-pressure ways to participate
- more interaction and presence from leadership
- and continued focus on making this feel like a place people want to be
Nothing flashy. Nothing overwhelming.
Just steady, intentional growth.
(With occasional chaos. As a treat.)

Prep for the War
Alright… let’s talk about the big thing on the horizon.
The Great Jedi War XVII is coming.
I’m not here to overwhelm you with details (those will come with the official release), but I am here to gently nudge you in the direction of being prepared… like a responsible leader… which feels strange to say out loud.
For those who may not know- Arcona has a very strong history when it comes to the Great Jedi War. We’ve won 7 out of 16 total wars. And more recently? We’ve won the last four. In a row.
No pressure or anything.
(Okay, maybe a little pressure. As a treat.)
It would be incredible to go for five… but here’s the part that matters more: I do not want people burning themselves out.
Wars are marathons, not sprints. You do not need to do everything. You do not need to compete in every single event. Contribute where you enjoy contributing, play to your strengths, and pace yourself. That’s how we win sustainably.
What you can do right now is prep:
- Make sure your character sheet is up to date
- Check that your games are installed, updated, and working
- Maybe dust off a few things you haven’t played in a while
- And if you’re into team-based stuff… start making friends now (or aggressively adopting people, your choice)
There will be options for everyone… gaming, writing, graphics, puzzles, all of it.
This isn’t about being the best at everything. It’s about showing up, contributing what you can, and doing it together.
One thing I do want to highlight going into this: it is far more impactful to participate across every bin than it is to try and do every single competition.
Each category (gaming, graphics, writing, etc.) is broken down into bins, and each bin will have multiple competitions within it. You don’t need to do them all… but getting at least one entry into each bin helps Arcona far more than stacking all your effort into just one area.
Think variety over volume. Touch everything. Contribute where you can. That balance is what makes a real difference during the War.
We’ve done incredible things in past wars. That history is something to be proud of, but it’s not something you need to carry on your back. We build the next win the same way we’re rebuilding now:
Steady. Supportive. And slightly chaotic.
We’ve got this.

Final Thoughts
This report is shorter, but it matters.
Because this is what progress actually looks like… not massive overnight change, but the right people stepping into the right roles, and things slowly clicking into place.
Bringing Tahiri onto the Summit is one of those moments.
We’re building something here. Something steady. Something welcoming. Something that feels alive again. And honestly?
I’m really excited about it.
As always:
- My DMs are open.
- I am still everywhere.
- I am still running on vibes and caffeine.
- And yes… scissors remain a motivational tool.
Use that information wisely.
Now go do something:
- Join a competition.
- Talk to someone.
- Cheer someone on.
- Lurk aggressively.
We take all forms of participation here.
Until the next report!
Stay chaotic (responsibly). ✂️
