P:Fist Report # 14-Happy Holidays

P:Fist Report # 14-Happy Holidays

Hello out there gamers! Hope everyone that celebrated Thanksgiving got their bellies full and tolerated relatives as long as they could, or enjoy games with family\friends. Enjoyed it myself and got plenty of food! My highlight was holding newborn puppies and finishing Fallen Order. I enjoyed it! Did you? If you haven't tried it out you should.

Now it’s near Christmas time! That means GIFTS! What games are you hoping to get as a gift from someone or get for yourself this year? Only one in my mind is the Horizon Zero Dawn expansion, haven’t got to play it yet. Anywho, enough of the small talk, let's get to the goods!

2019 has been an exciting year with some fun releases. It’s now the end of the year and there are a few more releases. Maybe not as exciting as past ones but will review the main ones which are Halo Reach (Master Chief Collection), MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries and Wattam.

At the beginning of the month on December 3rd Halo Reach was re-released for you Halo fans! It had been released in 4k on Xbox One and PC. Sorry PS4 players, no Halo. For those that may not be familiar with Halo Reach its a first person shooter that was released in 2010 originally for the Xbox 360. It is the fifth installment in the mainline Halo series and prequel to Halo: Combat Evolved.

The Halo campaign can be played solo or cooperatively, the player assumes the role of Noble Six. Which is a supersoldier engaged in combat with the Covenant which is an alien collective. If you want to see the trailer you can see it Here on Gamespots website.

Time to bring out the MechWarriors! Few of you may or may not have been keeping an eye out for this game to come out. Was originally to come out in year 2018 but due to delays got pushed to December 10th of this month. It is only available on PC. For this game you get transported to the distant future. Where it is dominated by BattleMechs that have the ability to level whole cities. You will become a BattleMech Pilot and destroy enemy mechs, tanks, aircrafts and bases.

In MechWarriors: 5 you can play co-op with up to three other players. It is from Epic Games, check out the trailer on the Epic Games Store and more pictures and information. It looks fun, who doesn’t like to blow up and destroy things?

Lastly there is Wattam, a “open world” simulation game. The point in this game is purely to make friends with everyone like sushi, flowers, rocks, noses etc from different the different seasons. You interact with everything and make comical results. There are mini games and puzzles to solve can play co-op within the same screen anytime you want. This game to me seems like a game for the kids or if you like something that you just chill and do whatever with and see what results you get. For more information and trailer check out the Funomena Website.

There are a few additional releases this month. If you would like to see the remaining releases check out Gamespots webpage for the full list.
