Judge me by my size, do you? Bigger is better. Go big or go home. It's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the fight in the dog. That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.
History has given us a lot of adages. Comments and quotes about size. Or strength. Or speed. Or anything. The reality is, we ought to be focused on more meaningful qualities. More cerebral aspects of ourselves that truly make a difference. We need to see honesty, integrity, humanity as our greatest qualities.
“The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.” -Bob Marley
It is my belief that this needs to be the primary goal of Tarentum. Our push for greatness. We need to be men (and women) of integrity. We need to have a profound, lasting impact upon ourselves, upon each other. Upon the entire Club. So many people throughout this fine organization have influence upon me, my thoughts and my actions. Are we having a beneficial impact upon everyone else? Does what we say or do provide real, tangible growth and improvement for Arcona? Odan-Urr? Naga Sadow, Plagueis, Scholae Palatinae and Taldryan?
I want to have a profound impact upon the Club. How? I want to win this upcoming GJW. You have no idea how badly I want to knock it out of the park. I want to own it. Murder it. Absolutely make it our bitch. And in so doing, provide the other six Clans with an amazing competitor and friend. I want to push ourselves and push the others. I want to help make this Club better. In Tarentum, the Brotherhood deserves a mighty warrior and daunting foe. Let's step forward and be our very best.
The best advice I can give is that single word: prepare. Be ready for activity. Be ready for teamwork and growth. Be ready for an interesting time. The Great Jedi War is meant to be a pivotal competition and activity, and is an opportunity to define and refine ourselves. We can be better.
Is Tarentum in better form than it has been in the past few years? Without a doubt. Our members are actively involved. They're interested in the Club. They want to make a difference. We want to make a difference. We see the good things happening and we want to be part of them, but also steering other amazing things in the future. As we move forward, the best place to exhibit our willingness to be a part of things and give to this Club is to partake. Give back. Compete and strive to win. We're not aiming for 5th place, or 4th, or “somewhere in the middle.” We're aiming for the top. Number One, baby.
There's going to be writing. There's going to be gaming. There's going to be a variety of events. We want to give it our best. We don't just want to submit anything, we want ti give it our all. Our heart and soul. Get ideas from your peers. Share and brainstorm. When we're in the GJW, offer to read and comment, seek out editing and more. It really will help.
I just wanted to mention our amazing leadership and bring up what happens daily, weekly, and more.
Every week, we have an extended team meeting that includes every positioned member of our Clan and some notable additions. We discuss current happenings and needs of the Clan as a whole, and individual facets. Your Clan’s leaders are dedicated to making this the best family the Brotherhood has to offer.
Additionally, we have our military command and leadership that has updated our forces based on the fabulous work of Evant and the Regent team. These dedicated members want to make sure that we have a rational, functional force for our fiction. They also want to make sure each and every one of you who wants to be involved is prepared and capable to make a fine addition to whatever efforts we have in that regard. And, as we have members who are war historians, members of the armed forces and more, we're set to make sure our fiction and battle plans and all things are incredible. So incredible. You don't even know how incredible they'll be.
I honestly can't even describe my excitement at our leadership team. House Mortis is blessed by the experience and enthusiasm of Scion and Geosh. Mawgath and Solas help polish the works of our House of Death, and everyone in Mortis can seek out their ability to enhance. House Liath has the benefit of passion and intellect with Samael and Blackhawk. Caesar and Dolash are great mentors and have a wealth of ability and terms in other Clans that will truly bring greatness to each of us.
We have amazing leaders in this Clan. At the head of it all is Frosty. He's truly the heart and soul of Tarentum. He is dedicated and passionate, and he is our friend. He absolutely wants us to succeed. If you're new, or if you've been around forever, each of them can make us better. Reach out and get to know your leadership team, and they will definitely bring out your best.
Oddly enough, there's a petition for a SWTOR show on Netflix that has gotten some attention from Disney. Who knows what will happen with it, but that has huge potential for all of us, right?
This Clan is for the members. This Club is for you. It's people who share a common passion, and a desire to share in the family and friendship of like-minded individuals. Tarentum is family. Each of you is a part of my life. Legitimately a huge part of my life. And I appreciate your continued presence. As we make each other better, we move outward. We are hopeful for Arcona. Concerned for Naga Sadow. Eager for Odan-Urr. And so on, and so forth for Plagueis, Scholae Palatinae and Taldryan.
You make me better than I could otherwise be. And hopefully, this Club makes you the best version of yourself. Be involved, and you will pass on something great to others. Everywhere. You guys are amazing, Tarentum.
TL;DR

-Tarentum's leadership team is awesome.
-Is there a SWTOR show in our future?
Have a great week. I love you guys!
