Things Are Moving!✂️ ARC Con Report #3

It’s been a busy few weeks here on my end, and perhaps a little quieter than usual while I dealt with a real life quest: moving. It was a pain, it was stressful and gross.
Thankfully, it is over. I’m officially settled into the new place, and while there are still boxes to unpack and things to find a home for, life is starting to settle back into something resembling normal. Which means I can finally start turning my attention back towards everything happening within Arcona.
And there is a lot coming
You may have noticed that we’ve been clearing out quite a few things recently. No, we haven’t decided to abandon civilization and live in the wild. We’re simply making room for some changes. Speaking of things falling into place, Project Raxus is officially in progress. Things are moving behind the scenes. The process of acquiring new things is already underway. Keep an eye open for more updates as the project develops.
And, of course, the ProBowl is coming up very soon. Which will have it’s own separate section.
With things finally settled down on my end, I’m excited to get back into the swing of things and see what the coming weeks bring. There are several projects, events and ideas already in motion and I think Arcona has a pretty exciting stretch ahead of it.
Great Hunt Results
The beasts have been hunted, the Dajorra System is a little safer, and the Great Hunt has come to an end!
With three enormous creatures unleashed upon Dajorra, Clan Arcona mobilised to track, contain, and eliminate the threats before they could cause any further destruction. Our hunters were put through six different challenges, testing everything from creativity and storytelling to gaming, codebreaking, and puzzle-solving. With each sub-competition weighted equally, every challenge presented another opportunity to climb the ranks.
After all six hunts were completed, the final standings are in.
Taking first place, with an impressive 29 points, is Luka Zarkot! Luka's strong performance across five of the six challenges proved enough to put them at the top of the hunt, narrowly edging out the competition.
Just one point behind, Bril Teg Erinos claimed second place with 28 points, while Mune Cinteroph rounded out the podium in third place with 27 points. The battle remained close throughout the standings, with only six points separating first from sixth place.
Congratulations to all of our hunters who took part and helped bring the Great Hunt to a successful conclusion. Whether you tracked a beast through the puzzles, tested your skills in gaming, broke codes, took to the page, or simply earned a few points along the way, every contribution helped.
The beasts may have been the targets, but you were the ones being tested.

Pro Bowl X
As many of you may know, the Pro Bowl is back! The dates for the Pro Bowl are as follows:
- Prologue: September 27th - October 3rd
- Week One: October 4th - October 10th
- Week Two: October 11th - October 17th
- Week Three: October 18th - October 24th

This is the same format as last year, with the entire DJB split into two teams: the Frogdogs and the Rotworms. Each Clan will have a Captain for each team, who will be responsible for rallying their Clanmates and building their teams.
Our team captains are:
- Frogdogs: Tahiri Thorn Morte Tarentae
- Rotworms: Soccora Erinos
Once the teams are ready to begin, the Captains will take turns selecting members for their respective teams.
I want to strongly encourage everyone in Arcona to participate! The Pro Bowl is one of the times when the entire Brotherhood comes together for one massive event, and it’s a great opportunity to represent Arcona, earn points for your team, and most importantly, have fun with your fellow members across the DB!
There is, however, one new addition this year: an opt-out option. If you genuinely cannot participate, you may choose to opt out by contacting Nora.
That said, please consider this a last resort rather than a default option. We want to see as many Arconans involved as possible, and every participant can make a difference. Even if you aren’t normally a big competition participant, there will be a variety of activities throughout the Pro Bowl, so there should be something for everyone.
So get ready, prepare to fight for your team. The Pro Bowl is coming!

Things are finally settling down on my end, but apparently that means Arcona gets to get even busier. Between the Pro Bowl, Project Raxus and whatever other chaos we manage to create along the way, there's plenty to look forward to.
